  1. Yep, it gets dosed with polymer as an anti foam, still awful, just got to vent it off best you can to get rid of the stench. Way to get money, hey!
  2. It’s been proper foggy the last couple of days, it’s absolutely pouring down the road i usually use is unpasssable unless in a truck. Some fool in a car went for it earlier, they failed miserably.
  3. Yep I’d crawl over broken glass to get to her.
  4. I looked at a place recently with plans to move on there (caravan on the quiet) the worked involved was huge, enough to put me off, the reward, imo is having a relatively small bit of ground that’s yours, making money from it would be a bonus.
  5. Where is it, I’ll come drop them and reconnect them if you are local. Don’t tell anyone I’ve said that mind!
  6. I’d imagine it’s not far off, they process dead animals for the fat and meal, the fat goes into soap, washing powder, fairy liquid and the likes the meal goes into animal feed.
  7. yes, those are the aerating basins. Pm on its way.
  8. I’m with ya, but it’s not going to happen, I’ve been down that road before. Gave the bosses daughter some loving, when it went wrong the work dried up, surprisingly!
  9. Anyway, this morning the lass who manages this part of the site, (side note… she’s as fit as a butchers dog) said you look shattered, I didn’t say it but thought i ain’t even got the energy get one over you at the moment.
  10. Correct when more modern vented manhole covers were put in there was less need for vent pipes, as you say there is plenty still left and kept in good order although capped off. I don’t realise they were listed but it makes sense due to the age of them.
  11. Vent pipe off the sewer, lots of them were taken down and sealed off back in the day.
  12. It’s awful, the lorries come through the village and it stinks as they pass. The process is eye watering, the treatment plant is down the bottom, although no pleasant nothing like the factory.
  13. It’s awful, even the office staff shower and change clothes before they leave. I wouldn’t try to dress it up any other way.
  14. Staffordshire Moorlands, just outside Stoke/Leek, it’s a god awful place that stinks to high even, but I can pay someone decent money and we get a takeaway in at night that I’ll pay for, work days sort your own food. Clean set up for when they leave, shower block, washing machines all in work time. Ideally someone who can be left alone with a bag of spanners, the rest I’ll show them,
  15. My head is spinning, but I’m sat here doing zilch on half decent money. It’s an awful place to work but it’s only looking after the treatment plant. Keep it in fine tune it’s about 4 hours graft on a 12 hour shift. For not bad money
  16. 84 hours a week.
  17. Someone give me some advice, I’ve taken some work that’s a doddle, it’s a bit of spanner work that I’ll do during the day, I’ll do the nights if I have to, basically it’s looking after a treatment plant on a shity rendering factory but 90% is babysitting, keep it out of high level and in compliance to discharge, average 42 hours a week, can’t get anyone to team up with me at £200/shift, I’ll pay more for the right person it could be close to £50k a year for the right man/woman, for doing long shifts but 4 on 4 off, when you take paid holidays into account it’s about five months graft a year. As said I’ll push the money a bit, but there’s no takers which, at the moment leaves me doing 84/week.my head is banging.
  18. Feck Noe’s b0D, I’ve a ton of stress on And 47 ton an hour to process with no help, short tempered would be an understatement!
  19. Bollox, it was known you were using multiple accounts. Go feck ya self Mick. Can’t be bothered anymore. I’m off down the woods for a walk, have a good one yourself.
  20. Back when the above screenshots were taken, I said you were using multiple accounts before you came out and admitted it, don’t try to make me out as a liar Mick, I might be somethings, but a liar isn’t one of them.
  21. My point is I clocked you, and you’ve tried to deny it.
  22. Without looking it was 2009 if my memory serves correctly.
  23. I had you marked, and mentioned it her, Joe had you too. No doubt you’ll say you’d come out by then, if that’s your route out, screenshots please.
