  1. You’ve not been up north for a while, the amount of shops that had living accommodation over them that stand empty is eye watering.
  2. This is it, organisation’s demand money from people and they pay, If I did the same I’d be arrested for demanding with menaces. What next!? Charging truck drivers to pay to stay in lay-bys/pull-ins?
  3. I won’t be getting any snotty letter, if they send one to my mailing address it’ll be binned way before I could see it.
  4. And until you’ve been amongst folk that would need to do that you’d never know! I rate a massive amount of the voting public couldn’t answer those two questions. I’m
  5. Of course, would you remember their names when you got to the ballet box?
  6. I think it should be quite simple, but would catch a lot out, who’s the PM, who’s the leader of the opposition, those two questions would knock loads out of the game.
  7. Yes he does, he’s posted on social media that people are turning away because of the illegal parking signs. But hey ho, not to worry if it doesn’t affect you. The point is, it’s our ground that they want us to pay for, and I’ve just found out the council (us) paid for the scout hut, people might think I’m overdoing it, their choice.
  8. I sorted it out, I didn’t walk 300 yards to put money in their payment machine, no doubt many will.
  9. It’s because no one speaks out, I’ve known the landlord there for 20+ years. He’s onto the council to get the signs removed due to his limited parking area, patrons of his pub have parked there FOC for years. It’s the, don’t say anything because it’s embarrassing brigade that get us in this situation.
  10. Aren’t the known as wollybacks?
  11. I’ve got a place that I rent out, I chose to live like this. My problem is with big companies trying to rip people off. They have absolutely no right to impose parking fees on a public road.
  12. Tarmac road with gravel pull ins. It’s not just my opinion, the landlord in the very remote pub has had enough of it, big companies, that what the scouts are, trying to screw money out of people.
  13. In this case the landowner is us, the tax paying public. It’s an access road to a scout hut/outside adventure place, they may own the ‘hut’ and car park but they don’t own the access road or the surrounding woodland. Because Steve thinks it’s embarrassing I’ll go no further than saying, what will it be next that ‘we’ pay for, then get charged to use it.
  14. yes he checked me out, all good. He said the van had been involved in an incident, but wouldn’t, couldn’t clarify it. It’s for sale, just didn’t want to pile a load of hassle on someone else.
  15. Bang on. I am furious though. You
  16. I vote every time, no point in complaining else.
  17. John, it’s people like you who make me furious, do me a favour, feck off. I’m
  18. Ohh dear, you prick! it’s a public road, it’s people like you who think they make, not abide by the rules that feck me off.
  19. Of course it gets better, you work for yourself, and don’t have to listen to twats.
  20. Leave me alone, and I’ll leave you alone, it’s that simple.
  21. Everything is good, I’m just sick of people telling me what I can and can’t do, and wanting to charge me for everything. I see Shutler is about again, he’s another twat who wants fecking off.
  22. No, of course I didn’t you argumentative moron.
  23. They want me to pay to park here, fecking clowns! I’ve spent the best part of 2 hundred nicker in the local economy this weekend. Picture of the parking deal and the adjacent signs.
  24. Reform, your thoughts? You
