  1. Never a truer word spoken! It’s a good job there’s two sorts of luck or some of us would have none.
  2. I’m sort of in agreement with you, that’s why I asked the question. I think I’m just going to suffer it and move on. At least the garage where it’s at are letting me stay in it at nigh/when they aren’t working on it, bit of a logistical mare, camper smashed up near Ashbourne, trailer in storage in Suffolk, and work van on our kids drive in Madeley.
  3. The offside one is fubar, that bill is with me sourcings the parts. I’m in a fairly agricultural area where the garage it’s in don’t mind working on it. It would be an insurance write off if I reported it.
  4. This camper is an odd ball, if it had been standard £2k would have covered it, I knew it wasn’t the original engine, what I didn’t realise was the drive shafts had been custom made when the replacement engine went in, this is where the extra cost came in.
  5. And then have a massive increase on my renewal even though it wasn’t my fault. My mates car got wrote off when it was parked up, his insurance doubled even though he wasn’t in the car at the time.
  6. Last Thursday some young lad hit me head on, he’s not disputing it was his fault, he was going like Joe feck around a blind bend on a country lane, I’ve not informed my insurance because his father said he would pay up to £2k for the repair, which he’s stood his word for, the problem is, the bill is £2600, and the father ain’t moving on it. I guess, because I didn’t inform my insurance company straightaway that they won’t want to know? Should I just suck the £600 up, or is it worth getting the insurance involved. What would you do?
  7. I stand to be corrected here, because this is contradictory, if it’s got a light it should work to pass a MOT, but reverse lights only need to work on the offside to pass a MOT. A switch on the dash won’t pass a MOT, unless you are in Stoke where £80 will get you a MOT.
  8. Funny isn’t it, I live in a camper, and have more visits from the police than most, not once have they tried the, drunk in charge of a vehicle. I do enjoy a beer, it’s not top of my list mind. You
  9. I wasn’t that far out then, fatty.
  10. At what, 40-50 years of age you learnt the word, prick from me?, amazing!
  11. And there you go, you told me I wasn’t being nice. See where it goes wrong?
  12. No, it was you. I might forget a name, but not a face.
  13. Exercise, I walk about 5-6 miles a day. I drove past you, end of March, early April, I’d have stopped and got breakfast, but…
  14. From last I saw of you, which wasn’t as long as you think, you needed to.
  15. Evening John, apart from being, big, fat, and ugly I hope everything is well?
  16. I do try my best, where you are just trying. Perhaps you should buddy up with Shutler, you’d have a blast. You
  17. Prick.

    Weight

I’ve been around 11 n half stone since I was a teenager, my mate said today, you need to put some weight on, I’m sure I don’t, I eat well. Would you think 11 n half stone at 5’8” is far out?
  19. I’m absolutely sure you wouldn’t find me. Why do you need to comment?
  20. I could have chucked his name in, but…
  21. I’m parked in the middle of nowhere (Staffordshire/Derbyshire border) when a gypsy I know from Suffolk pulls up next to me, that was strange enough, but he was agitated, not surprising, he was there to meet another gypsies wife! They’ve begged me not to tell anyone, like I would! How unlucky can someone be, hundreds of miles from home and get caught by Egg!
  22. Without diagnostics we will all be guessing, OBD11 readers for basic stuff are fairly cheap. You
  23. Cheltenham?
  24. I bow hauled a narrowboat from Great Haywood (Stafford) to Stoke, took me a week, wouldn’t fancy doing it again!
  25. I believe ya mate, millions wouldn’t!
