  1. i agree with everyone getting a trial is your chance to show how good you are and for 1 day unpaid work for a full time job for continued work costs nothing but a but of your time my gf had a trial at a farm shop and got the job and was never paid for the trial day. what was wrong though was the farm shop owner continuing to trial people to get free labour and never intending to take anyone on.
  2. this is a better one Stihl MS660 Chainsaw on eBay (end time 29-Jan-11 21:02:06 GMT)

  5. yes mix it with diesel diesel already has up to 5% bio in it now and that will rise over the next few years
  6. didn't anyone tell you to mix it with diesel to start with at 50% to wean it onto it it'll clean your tank and fuel lines and almost certainly block your filter straight away id get a couple of fuel filters because you'll be needing them biodiesels good its the suppliers that are a night mare to find one that makes it to a good quality and will keep you supplied and not run out all the time if you have to travel far to get it its not worth it ive found it a pain ive got some on order at 85p they deliver it but not heard anything yet just cant seem to get a good constant supply. where are you getting it from?
  7. never understood these long service intervals myself i service my l200 every 4500 to 5000miles without fail as the old model i had had a knackered turbo at 20000miles i blame it on the oil not being changed regular as i bought it reconditioned the turbo and serviced it regular and it was never a problem again.
  8. good trailers ive got one bought mine second hand a couple of years old though a year ago not a shiny new one like yours....
  9. i had 2 306 dturbos only had the second because the first was so good and the car was written off after someone crashing into it. brilliant car brilliant engine wish i had kept it
  10. bit cheeky putting up the price on them it still seems a good deal if you want a brand new old type two stroke saw the price does include vat as well.
  11. if you pay via paypal as he insists you cant go wrong as if its not as he decribes then you can dispute it through paypal and get your money back as the customers always right. looking at the ad and searching for it on the internet i would think it was genuine
  12. also are you strimming any edges a 100m2 lawn takes 10 mins to mow but then you have to empty clippings strim edges tidy up sweep paths load truck back up again generally i spray paths and driveways with roundup as well to keep weeds at bay
  13. im a gardener and charge out at £15 some manage upto £25 the thing is never charge by the hour think how long it will take work your rate out plus travel, waste, fuel, then put in a price per garden very small gardens would be £15 minimum it only may take 30 mins from unloading kit doing the job and loading up again. if you have several and can be done in the same day relatively close you can earn good money
  14. very nice work like the owl at the top and the giraffe, im going to give carving ago when i get chance welcome
  15. that one went for £466 delivery with a courier will be 25 or maybe less to you to pick up and deliver think what you want to pay for it and offer him that less delivery or ask the seller if they would organise a courier if you offer him slightly less than buy it know and pay via paypal he can take it off ebay and save himself the sellers fees and your secure as paying via paypal if theres a problem dispute it through paypal
  16. how about this Grazers - effective solution to rabbit damage & crop damage by grazing rabbits, deer, pigeons, geese ive not used it but surely they wouldn't be able to sell it if it didn't work and no one would repeat buy it
  17. not being a fisherman i did wonder if this was the case they aren't allowed to catch say cod in the south but do all the time and discard them so if they are doing this all the time theres not a shortage surely surely the fisherman know more about fishing than any authority does and that fisherman dont want to over fish as they'll put themselves out of a job its the same in farming more rules and regs and actually stop farmers doing what they know which is looking after the countryside and makes it more difficult
  18. also this 2004 for £500 looks genuine STIHL chainsaw ms660 on eBay (end time 19-Jan-11 17:24:33 GMT)
  19. i had some mackeral a friend caught and cooked it on a barbeque it was lovely ive never liked it much as always thought it was a strong tasting fishy fish lol but it was tasty Been eating more mackerel over the past few years- If you have to buy tinned then buy it in brine and add any seasoning you want as you don't get such an aftertaste as in oil or tomato I really wish I could but it from a chippy in a bap- sounds delicious with tartare sauce- Good recipe Hugh
  20. I've been on another forum saying pretty much the same thing what i dont understand is governments see discard as something that has to happen and in reality its discarding dead fish and this is the key discard isn't something that has to happen Its WASTE and totally wrong im not a fisherman but in the video the fisherman dont like what there doing i dont know how easy it is to catch what they want i pressume they are areas of where they detect where fish are do they know what they'll have in the nets before they land them or is it pot luck so to speak. It seems in the program there are plenty of cod they catch but cant sell them is this because the fish stocks aren't as bad as the authorities think. if they catch them they go back dead its not helping the fish stocks we may as well eat them. i think also if they had a quota for the year then stop fishing after that. also believe what hugh and jamie are trying to do by getting the consumer to ask for different fish is the right thing it will improve the whole industry and be better for fish stocks and fisherman thats if enough people actually go and buy something different.
