  9. i inquired and was told by the provider you need to spend at least £400 a month on fuel so at the minute thats around 75 to 80 litres a week. im thinking about going back on bio diesel just found a new supplier not too far away so might try it again its 89p 40p cheaper than diesel so may wel be worth it ive found it all depends on the quality of the supplier and ive not found a reliable supply yet been on and off bio for 5 years it fine if its good quality bio

  17. stihl hs 81 r 30 inch version brilliant hedgecutter cant fault it several on that well known auction site
  18. we first used wood most of the time but dads started buying more anthracite buys it in the summer stores it on the pallets in bags on the farm and brings it home as we need it and then we have a log shed i built in the garden to. you could run it on wood all the time but you'd need alot but if you have a good supply due to work then it could be done. we haven't got a back up boiler so totally gas free and are thinking the next step will be solar panels to get hot water in the summer without the emersion heater. odd days its cooler the wamsler gets lit up though
  19. well about 4hrs on wood but it depends on what wood oak will last longer and if you shut it down to tickover i think you could get it to go to 8 hrs at a push dad uses anthrasite on it to keep it in over nite we've fitted a 300litre water tank so always plenty of hot water. to get the oven hot for cooking through some conifer on it to get some flame it soon gets hot. not sure where your nearest dealer is but theres one in newark that have a small one in working we went down to the importers in exeter to see one in there showroom. as local dealers will probably not have one to look at. if you wanted to come and look im sure my dad will be happy to show you it and talk about it
  20. dad gets it stoked up and this house is roasting hot
  21. yeh my parents have one a 900 its a great boiler range well made where are you from?
  22. there isn't a haynes manual or anything similar as far as im aware. though i think there might be a cd available dont knoe how good it is though. join the L200 owners club great source of information.
  23. last time i did some same site tipping like this i routed the cable through the truck bed through the rear window on the newshape l200 and to the centre console. load up drive to tipping area reverse tip up and drive off without getting out easy and time saving
  24. i personally cut last hedges in november time as the are dormant i cant se a problem the benefit i explain to the customer is that they will not grow again til spring and look good untill early summer certain hedges i cut more often. i find leylandii lasts all year i cut in october november when dormant and leave it till the following year some customers want them cutting in summer but i try and educate them that if i cut it know as if you cut anything its the plants response to shoot and grow again. so if cut in the summer it will need cutting again in autumn. if you leave it in the summer it wont grow a great deal more normally its hit its growth peak and will stay as it is till its dormant. then thats the time to cut it. for privet and hawthorn to keep them tidy and easier to cut i suggest regular cut 3 to 4 a year, and each time is relatively easy. some gardens i go to insist on trimming there hawthorn hedge every few weeks and it takes seconds
  25. this is interesting ive been asked to do one and suppose to be doing it tomorrow........
