  3. it will happen when your fuel filter blocks when i first went on to bio diesel then change the filter its fine if it goes into saf mode all you have to do is switch the engine off and wait a minute and it resets itself. if you need the code reading a local garage will do it mine is very helpful i know them through mates they plug it in and say what sensor or code it is then take the problem from there seen as this hasn't happened i would think it was the water pump
  4. a mate had one and had an engine in it in the first year he had it from new. ive got a newshape l200 and its great and had an oldshape with no problems. do your research and make sure you look at the truck your buying thoroughly or take a mechanic friend with you and service regular i do mine every 4500 mile turbos on truck dont like dirty oil and a service cost me £50 plus a bit of time at night or on the weekend theres problems with all makes and models on the market id rather buy one of a bloke thats serviced it himself regular than someone who has full service stamped book but might only be once a year
  5. yeh i had a water pump replaced on my oldshape l200 2002 plate check that they do go but not to expensive to replace
  6. l200s new and old are far from gutless there great trucks never had a promblem
  7. l200 had the old shape and new shape there both great new shape bit better on fuel whatever you get service it regularly i do mine myself cost £50 for oil and filters and a bit of time, i change oil every 4500 to 5000 miles and had no problems
  8. we have a wamsler range like a rayburn but more modern and more efficient but i found these the other day look really efficient and ideal in your application the website has prices too but then you need a large buffer tank to store hot water and a good plumber Eco Angus Wood Burning Boilers - Home
  9. good work i carved a chair out of a leylandii stump but not done anything else because i thought i needed a carving bar to make it easier as theirs less chance of kick back because of the pointed tips i wanted to do a bear to start with and see how it turns out
  10. i was thinking of getting a carving bar and chain and having a go with my ms 181 wheres the best place to buy a bar and chain and what sort do i want to get for my saw cheers
  11. got kuhmo kl71s craking tyre on and off road got them on my l200 no complaints at all and getting good reviews came joint top with bfgs in a road test last year and there about the same price as generals or cheaper
  12. we have a wamsler a modern version of a rayburn german made and better output, you need to have a pressure release valve set at 2.5/3 bar so if the power goes off whilst your out the moterrised valves will shut the temp of the water in the pipes will rise and so will the pressure the valve then releases the water bypassing the motorised valves and sends it round the central heating side to disperse. if you dont have this you could end up coming home to burst pipes or damaging the back boiler look at Eco Angus Wood Burning Boilers - Home they have gasification boilers which burn efficiently there just a stand alone boiler. or Wamsler Solid Fuel Cookers and Central heating
  13. just thought id paint it in original colours and then sign writ on top of it and the back lid so people can see it in traffic think ill go for timberwolf orange though there is plenty of john deere green on the farm
  14. iv got a 56 plate new shape animal only does 32 mpg and less towing and i dont thrash it is yours a warrior with less hp? there suppose to be better on fuel

  20. i knew entec were then timberwolf my chippers a 96 i think so are you saying i wont get decals should i just paint it timberwolf orange then? yes it is towable entec truckloader same as the 18/100 timberwolf but mine has a 16hp engine still plenty of power though it pulls the branches out of your hand
  21. dont have any pics i paid 1250 runs sound had bearing on it just got a little rust her and there. Im a landscape gardener so dont need a big chipper and anything above 4 inch i log so its ideal. my mums a head gardener at a garden took it there and felled an ash tree on monday and cleared up the brash with it worked great. shes interested in hiring it for use so it will easily pay for itself
  22. just bought a Entec truckloader chipper 4 inch self feed very pleased with it just what i need nice and light to move around and chips very well i was thinking of respraying it to tidy it up a bit does anyone know where i can get truckloader decals from or should i paint it timberwolf colours and timberwolf decals any ideas welcome
  23. nice very smart great tyres too got the kl 71s on my l200
  24. I have a newshape l200 and love it used to have a old shape for 4 years that was a great truck too make sure you keep the oil changed regular at 4500 miles and you'll be fine i buy oil and filter kit from milner off road and do it myself for something like £40 and an hour of time. they ride well make sure on an older truck the tyre wear is ok they can wear outer tyre edges if so they may need wheel alignment and bushes changing. fuel consumption 27mpg and towing can be down to 23 mpg depends what your towing and how you drive. if you drive like you stole it it'll be more like 24/25mpg and 21/22mpg Insurance i use nfu there good im only 24 so its not cheap for my newshape truck but no insurance would be for anyone with full no claims there decent to insure as there insured as a commercial vehicle any more info just let me know id be happy to help cheers nic
