  3. just googled it. at the start of the thunder birds series it just meant fabulous but then got changed to fully advised and briefed!
  4. if you do go down the chainsaw route id highly recomend running a small ish saw with a carveing bar on. i run an ms170 with a 12" carveing bar and because its a 1/4" chain it cuts alot less agressive and neater finish. i use mine day in day out when im building stuff in my workshop.
  5. you could try one of these.. Makita Direct or Makita Direct
  6. saw this and made mev Drunken lumberjack's night-mare: Vodka-binge driver crashes van with two HORSES in the back | Mail Online

  11. my number is 07980 739791. i should be at the yard all next week building stuff in my shed there.
  12. i was pondering this last night when i couldnt sleep. fixed greedy boards are a pain if you do multi jobs. hows about board fixed on headboard then the side bits are the width of the bed mounted on some good gate hinges to the head board. one side could be mounted on an inch spacer so that when you dont want them they fold flat back against the head board! does that make sense?
  13. got a place just off the A6006 near six hills, abit far from notts centre but if your stuck give me a shout!
  14. maybe its a red necks wind sock or weather indicator!

  16. take wheels off and tap the drums with a big hammer. even tho you left hand brake off if you reversed it into place then you should alsways pull forward a couple of feet due to the way the auto reverse breaks work!
  17. cool. how long does the battery last chap?
  18. Extendable mobile wooden tower - 1940's cherry picker? on eBay (end time 15-Feb-10 17:20:59 GMT)
  19. whats the advantage of it over a big tirfor winch?
  20. yeah i know, ive ordered two!!!!
  21. think it is this one ive got, saw/abour & extension for drill deep holes set me back £50 at the www.toolbank.com | Holesaws Fast Cut Wood .. would love to know how rack and ruin do it tho!
  22. have you guys seem the site 'rack and ruin' ? the expansive bit is ok but you'll struggle with a hole big enough for a wine bottle and doesnt run very true! have made a few rustic wine racks for friends after they saw the rack and ruin ones but couldnt afford there prise tags! is alot of work to get it right, i use an 4" hole cutter which only goes in 2" at a time but does a very neat job!
  23. classed as an historic hgv. some of the marmons phil used to sell where tax and mot exempt, some only tax exempt! not sure exactly how it worked tbh. i had one for couple of years, firstly standard set up (ford flat head v8 petrol) had it as a fun vehicle when i worked on dairy farm in worcs. that engine expired so i fitted the engine and box out of a ford cargo, runs a treat although lost abit of top speed (55mph tops now) drove it up to north of scotland a few times with new job then sold it to brother in law as a shoot bus and he's had it ever since. He has now upgraded to a bedford mj because he needed to carry more guns/beaters (marmon only 15 comfortably) has regreted it abit this year tho cos mj alot heavier on the ground than the marmon!
  24. has he? thats a bugger, he did say the last time i spoke to him that the exchange rate wasnt makeing bringing them over that feasible much longer! they still turn up on ebay from time to time. if i had the space id get one again in an instance, great fun and awsome off road!
