  1. Been thinking about buying a small harvesting head to fit on my digger, has anyone got one? are they any good, we only cut larch up to 10 inches and our woods are really flat, seen one on youtube mounted on a timber crane on a tractor anyone done this? would you go for the harvesting head or a stroke delimber?
  2. Yes i would like the lift pump please, can you find out the price of postage please Cheers Mark.

  3. Hi was out in the Foden yesterday sorted the leak that was emptying tank 5, it was a leaking valves in the air wiper motor, that was interesting taking it to bits! just needed cleaning out and a little more preload on a couple of springs. The blow off valve on the air tanks was blowing off far to early, so adjusted that and the extra pressure makes the overdrive select much better and the clutch pedal is much lighter! It,s running much sweeter since it,s been hauling timber the 9 miles back to our yard and very hilly it is to, going to tidy the cab up next summer bit of rot in the door bottoms to sort and a bit of paint going to keep it in camo colours maybe just a bit of signwriting on it, got a A frame drawbar trailer to drag behind it, also be fitting a big ramsey winch to the front soon, got the winch just need to find the time to fit it!

  23. You need crankcase gasket and base gasket, crankseals and bearings would be a good idea. plus make sure you get the right crank depending on which flywheel you have, it should be the plastic flywheel.
  24. The 064 piston should fit as the bore is 52 mm check that your bore is 52mm incase your saw has had a 660 top end fitted or even a 56mm bigbore kit, I,ve known at least half a dozen ms650,s that have knocked their bigends out, British Alcan used ms650,s for cutting up alli billets and scrap they were used 7 days a week 8 hr,s a day so have a fantastic number of hours on them, plus i know that someone bought lots of these saws with damaged cranks, bigends gone and clutch nose snapped off and repaired the cranks by splitting the flywheels with a hammer and wedges and re build using the same hammer to true them up no v blocks of dial gauges used. they tend to be 2007 and 2008 saws the give away for these saws is the black ali dust baked on to the saws in those hard to clean areas, most ms650 in this country have been through British Alcans hands, i have one and love it, but the crank went when it was eighteen months old!
  25. well there is a crank for you. CRANKSHAFT FITS STIHL 066, MS650, MS660 CHAINSAW 10MM | eBay
