  1. Got an immobiliser fitted to mine recently. £150.00 all in and a certificate for my insurance.
  2. Call out this morning. Everything stayed on site and knowing the weather forecast I got it down before any rain showed up. Then got soaked locking the gate by a delivery van.
  3. But they block the views. 😁😁
  4. I take it to all my crash and leave sites. Just handy to move brash out of your way and move big timber about. Keeps saws from the mud too which helps.
  5. Crash and leave job Jon. So bonus for me.
  6. Yeah c) was the bit someone missed out. As I'm going to be using mine for the highways contracts I have recently won.
  7. No but by 8:30am it was when we had finally finished on site.
  8. No word of a lie, it's fell over all by itself. Thankfully we had some cleaners on site to vouch for us. A few from today, well this morning. A load of macrocarpas failed and we've got to deck the rest next week. No pics of them across the road as 3am isn't my most awake time of the day. Then down to the site we were at yesterday to clear next doors tree up that fell through the fence and a wind throw of a single branch. And finished the day off with a dead cherry removal. Oh and a yew and dogwood to take out.
  9. Jim and Olli deadwood these two macros in the sleet today. Then Jim cut his finger, just shows saws are sharp even when they are switched off. Oh and a wall fell over randomly whilst we were on site.
  10. A few bits from today. Small oak reduction, ash fell and knocking some conifers down so they can assess/decide to keep them or remove them. Neighbors "tree surgeon" cut the stubby limb in the second picture. I left it because the whole site is covered by a tpo. Oh and a survey which I was pricing. Same tree had 2 tags. One to re-pollard and one to fell it.
  11. Skid steer is just the wheels really. The machine is driven all by itself, except it's not self propelled. Absolute animal. The last grind was a huge grand fir that snapped in half. Didn't take a before as I had to mill some of the stem up but it was 5fts worth of grinding involved.
  12. 630a Vermeer.
  13. A quick bit of grinding today.
  14. Just a question but I was under the understanding that highways tree work was also allowed to run on red.
  15. Just borrowed it from the joinery near to me. Clarks might sell them or riko
  16. Huh? I was answering his comment about dual fuel tanks.
  17. Cheers, Might change the crane for a newer one after its started earning. Long term buy so I think it's going to be changed around a bit.
  18. Problem is how can you prove your running on white after the Reds in the system.
  19. Currently it will do 1.2t at full reach. So I'm not massively worried. Would my lift capacity be reduced if I moved it?
  20. Mine looks a lot like it came from a birds rear. One of my best mates is an amazing agri engineer. I can only take credit for paying for stuff, his time and being his skivvy.:blushing:
  21. A little work today, welded the frame up and added some extra support over the tipping ram.
  22. Yeah I will as it makes sense in the long run. I'll pull a 16t grain trailer behind it eventually is the goal. Load timber into that trailer or the chip box depending on the amount of chip etc.
  23. No only because it has all the rear tipping hear fitted. Made sense for me to keep it that way.
