  1. Seems like all I'm doing currently is a pollard of some sort. I think in the last few months I've done well over 500. Borrowed the boatyards platform and stripped all I could out. Tomorrow I'll move it onto the farm track to do the rest.
  2. Some nice pictures coming on recently. My not so impressive tasks today. Kept the tasks simple due to the wind. Quick repollards on 2 willows. Clearing a part failed willow up. Starting a dyke clearance so the broads authorities dredger can can in.
  3. But no horses today 😂
  4. Quick hedge removal this morning. Onto a little bit of scrub clearance and then to sort out an oak limb failure.
  5. Cheers, don't particularly want to get much bigger though.
  6. I still do roughly 75% of the climbing. Now Ollie is working for me I need to bring his climbing on a fair bit. I make them learn dead woods, thins and reductions. Then pollards and dismantling trees. No dismantling until they've mastered running the rope and working out where stuff goes on the deck first. My aim is to have a reduced on site role so I can have office days. Mainly coming out to shift the timber and hopefully free the lads up to get onto another site. But time will tell I guess.
  7. Deadwooding this morning then onto ground tasks this afternoon.
  8. my groundy micks and my not so impressive side leaner fell.
  9. Second from last is a beast of a picture rich.
  10. No oxygen removals today. A lot of deadwooding and hanging branches though. Although I have got 2 70-85ft beech trees to remove. Sadly riddled with ustulina and ones got a huge crack but high winds this week mean it's either going to be standing or fail.
  11. Tidy joe, birch and beech are my favourites to reduce. Tree of heaven or Indian bean tree are my least.
  12. Vos said the same today on the phone. Well about the sensor. It's currently got double Spring but both are shot now by the looks of things. Yeah chip box on the rear and I'll get more pictures.
  13. Interesting, what's the best option? Send them back or can the load sensor be adjusted?
  14. Cheers. I'll have a Google.
  15. Nope 19-28 smashes it forward.
  16. Can we see a picture of the make so it's easier to buy the right one.
  17. Crikey, seems like all we can do is hope they don't. Pedal lock sounds interesting.
  18. Not sure until I start putting it together.
  19. Still a lot to do. But getting there slowly.
  20. Very nice looking tractor.
  21. Its already got a stack I'm just moving it to the drivers side as its a bit of a bodge. Worked out it was cheaper to do it this way.
  22. Found one in an email.
  23. So today the new heavy duty springs, silencer and pipes arrived. Didn't get a picture because I was in a rush. Super speedy delivery by Atkinson vos. A rarity in Norfolk. Next to order a fuel tank.
