  1. Is this thread from the start a complete windup? If I was as desperate as the op I would snatch the hands off the guys who have offered help.
  2. I replied to your post about stilaben picking you up, I said I would imagine he meant for you to make your own way to him, after I posted it I re read what stilaben had said and realised he offered to pick you up, so I deleted my post,
  3. David, you have no tickets, cant drive and no experience, but you have the desire to work in arb. Very few people are going to give you a chance as you've found out, get a job, any job minimum wage , save your money, take your tickets and driving test and come back in a couple of years, im being realistic mate.
  4. I wonder if he got his money back?
  5. :thumbup1:
  6. Check out your nearest competition, pointless going dearer than them
  7. That's because it probably is:laugh1: They have cameras , we have number plates, we havnt got a chance
  8. You can go on the lez website, punch in you registration and it will tell you if your lez compliant or not, I phoned the lez offices and asked them where it started, a lady said , "if you look at a map of London, then basically if you pass the m25 at any place you are in the lez". Funny that cos at the m25 junction on the m1 it says LEZ STARTS AT SCRATWOOD SERVICES a good 10 miles past the m25 turn.?
  9. Have you got that in writing from vosa?
  10. My hilux is plg, and I know of someone in London who owned a diesel ford explorer and had to get rid as it wasn't lez compliant, is your disco car newer than 04 and your disco van older than 04?
  11. Heres the situation: Letter from VOSA says I am not allowed to take my hilux into the low emission zone in London, if I do its a straight £1000 fine, reason is that they are trying to keep the air in London free of the crap that comes out of my exhaust as it don't have a catalytic converter. Ok fair enough But if I pay £100 per day for a permit I can go in??????????? Does anyone know why £100 would change the situation apart from being another money making scam on the motorist?
  12. Norfolk? if so get out quick and don't look back
  13. Good point about the bar and chain, personally I wouldn't lend even the engine to anyone other than someone I know very well that they will only use the same mix as I do. I don't even put other peoples mix in my saws
  14. This is the problem of doing small jobs while you employ a labourer
  15. You don't need a labourer and you don't need to return (post quick etc) sets in minutes. Now your price will be worth it.
  16. Same price , it all goes through the books so tax is payed whether its cash or cheque
  17. Come on more pics of that beast on its side
