  1. The only reason for the price that I can think is : the owner who knows what its worth has disappeared or died. might be a vengeful wife selling all her husbands gear after finding out about his illicit affair with the local barmaid, jesus ive got to stop watching soaps

  4. Fountains plc to over from me and many others in 2008 (towpath maintenance) They secured the south east waterways contract and then the entire 2200 miles contract. It was all about saving money after bw had their grants cut by millions.

  10. Last time I checked fountains maintain all 2200 miles of canal for c a r t (canal and rivers trust), might be worth giving them a ring for any subby work.
