  1. have kept hens for yrs and none killed by foxes,,,,,thats cause there fenced properly,,,and very happy hens...
  2. got to pollard a willow and drag it through a house today,,,might be scuppered me thinks!!!!
  3. get your self an arbortec grinder,,,cut a burl off a tree and they dont take long,,,have made a few,,,
  4. well woke to a lovely crisp day and decided to spend a few hours in the workshop making a few bird boxes up out of an old apple tree i took down in the village last september, lit the fire ,blasted some coldplay out of the sound machine, and got creative,,,
  5. hi mate between £400 -£600.....bout a day to make one less materials,bolts etc,,,they vary from 6ft to 10ft,,, the wine stopper rubbers are available from most woodturning suppliers lie , tool post, turners retreat etc,,,I bought 2000 yrs ago from a supplier who was folding,,,,

  8. the problem with yew boards are they are very attractive and the natural colours sell, any items made in yew sell well,,,I have to admit I havnt made any boards out of it, as by the very nature of chopping, or cutting your going to scour the surface, thus raising some residue,dust etc, so as a safety thing, and the fact I`m selling stuff, i wouldnt want to risk it,,, when I turn it i wear a dust mask and have a extractor going but my eyes still get blood shot, (or is that the beer?)

  10. I agree with mark,,dont even start to look into the ingredients of your shampoo!!hence why I use a eco friendly one, but I do make yew wine stoppers!!!

  12. adam, a guy near me has been trying to sell his (imacculate) for £5,500 with out much joy! for over six months,,
  13. if you google yew chopping boards, then theres loads of people who do make them in yew? and have seen some in shops,,,
  14. fab bit of walling!!! shed is looking the bussiness too!!!
  15. what can a basic crew cab tipper tow legallly?
  16. my silky,,,,quiet and cheap to run!!!
  17. give them 6months outside with sheet on, then move them inside to lower moisture content even more, putting them inside with no air flow will defo produce mould!
