They have changed the dye due to the cat litter trick, they now run it through containers of acid, be care full who you source cheap white diesel off I shouldn't think would do vehicle much good if there was any contamination,

Deffo try the fuel filter could have water or crap in, might not been changed or could be not up to right spec

As above I would class arbwaste as shi*ty chip, Connie rakings and sawdust, unsplit rings and short lengths of round wood would be better description

Could they of actually done anything , if it was just chipping you could of drained the tank and filled with red, then swapped to white for drive home

Hi I've got an old stihl 028 av its got made in west Germany stamped on it, got an 18inch Oregon bar with replaceable tip must been on there 20 years and the paint is only just rubbing off. Chain is about 3/4 worn, been sat in garage 6 months started 4th pull on old fuel, runs really well just put it through some 20 inch wood, idles fine and picks up straight away, had the av mounts done last year. How much would you think was worth I've got quite a collection of newer saws I just don't need or use it anymore?

That's the mother of all pollytunnels ive been doing my wood loose in 1 I think I heaped it up to much I went about 7 feet high the logs in middle have gone a bit mouldy

That's a lovely job you've done of that hilux aspen, ive never had any trouble with a hilux clutch they will do 120_130k on the original I've pulled 3 ton trailers and the trucks been loaded I've dragged large butts out of woodland I've pulled trees over with it, they seem very low on maintenance just look for 1 that's not got rot under it, there plenty double cabs about and they often havnt been abused as much as the single cabs. Hold out for a clean mk3 or 4 you easilly pick one upin very good comdition for 3k and when you go to sell it you will prob make money on it

Who should I try for a yard tractor but in process of getting it registered with dvla, Its never been registered so I dont have a log book if it gets put on a Q plate does this increase the premium like it does with cars and trucks, I couldn't get quote for a hilux on a Q plate?

I can't seem to keep the chain properly tensioned every time I go to fuel up I have to adjust the chain tension then its really slack when I have to fuel up done a couple hours cutting from new its on a Oregon chain can't see its the chain stretching that much. It doesn't seem to be oiling that well can't see oil coming off the bar I've got the oiler turned up to max. What am I doing wrong?

I had some sycamore couple winters ago left in short lengths sheeted on top but so wind could get through had only been down few months was ready to go out when cut and split can only think the really harsh winter freeze dried it plenty of cold wind on it

Looking for a PTO chipper to run off a 50-75 HP tractor only needs to take up to 5 inch material but must be able to tackle conifer and thorn what do you recommend ideally secondhand

Thanks aspenarb I shall put down agricultural machine I have a 5 ton hydraulic winch to go in the back would that class as a forestry vehicle I have another truck for working and getting about just want to wear up my old truck running about the woods

How do I go about getting an old hilux registered as agricultural I don't want it as limited use as I would be going further than 1.5km on the estate it is only used for getting timber out the woods
