  1. Appreciate that mate, my first few vids were just quick to get some views on my channel, now ill put some decent ones on. Got an enormous macra to do soon
  2. A dismantle, using the stein 3001 bollard, two isc 150kn pulleys on 3 ton slings and dead eye rope on 8000kg 16mm esterlon rope with 50 kn big dan krabs using half hitches and u turn loops. All went well just before the thunder
  3. Just wondering what the last few years have been like for others ?. Im finding yellow pages is far to over priced and delivering dwindling results. Yell.com, there must be hundreds of company's. And TL I don't think has ever worked ?.
  4. Im talking about the swl divide by 10 to work out a safe working load on equipment ?. 100kg equals 0.98 kn
  5. I use a ART primus with a 22kn rating an ropes with a plus 20kn rating and krabs. Why is the ZZ only a 10-15kn rating that's the weakest component in the system by design ?. I know most arbs would love to be 100kgs and ripped but the safe working load is very close I'm at 87kg which would be an 8.7kn swl. So leaving only 1.3-6.3kn mbs of what if is IMO not enough !. I'd expect to use a minimum of double my weight for a swl, for me at least 17.4 kn so that if I did slip and fall 10 or so feet I have half a chance. 1kg equals 0.97-98kn I can't remember the figure but the further you fall the great you weigh, be safe chaps.
  6. what do you charge spud pm me if interested ?.
  7. spot on re quality, recently snapped the top handle cheap plastic, luckily cheap to fix pita to fit. what setting is you carb on ?.
  8. ill crack out my dremel then lol
  9. porting is that widening the intake or exhaust port ? or both.
  10. With the rip cut just make a cut where you don't want the tear going past and that should stop a total rip down. Also letting the bark take the load as the branch bends over saves your shoulders and elbows allot if you cut and chuck, the gob cut leaves little time to safely grab the branch. Nice to see others use it not just me an my yeehaa ways
  11. I have a 201t i could experiment with, what are the yanks trying im guessing the saws must be quiet similar other than carb or exhaust ?.
  12. The pesky EU mate don't do much good do they !
  13. As above can you increase the power of the 201 ?. Im starting to get annoyed at the slump in pick up speed. I was thinking opening the exhaust but can the current carbs increase the fuelling to match ?.
  14. Think ill hold off getting one, must admit the ball and socket piece looks like it could snap if loaded against the side of the casing. Lockjack for now I guess stay safe, I'd avoid using the zigzag if you have your old device until they find out what went wrong.
  15. Ah cool cool I try to contribute but I always end up in a debate lol you should see my vids they have a marmite effect
  16. I was just interested that people divulge information that could help a competitor price against you, i don't mind at all id never personally state my day rates but that's me. I dont get the take take comment tho
  17. Far too many, fencers doing it, landscapers doing it, firemen doing it, rubbish clearance guys doing it. I think if work slows we should all train to do fencing, landscaping etc we have the main kit already
  18. Guys perhaps im being a tool but your telling people on an open forum what you charge ?. This is great for a competitor
  19. CCTV is a must mate, you lucky devil tho i can recommend a decent cctv system it works on your iphone i find it so handy just constantly keep an eye on things
  20. you just have to learn from it and move on mate
  21. No buddy I never mention my way of climbing, just defended it my vids show tree felling in a safe way no now can honestly say its not safe because it is. Im sure there are better and worse climbers but what I do works perfectly for me. opinions on what is good are varied, I should point out these are new vids just simple stuff as I have not had the cam long so I'm getting used to using it and wanted a few vids up, my best stuff will come as and when nice jobs come up.
  22. Not from my rigging or climbing Of course the standard lift the panel out it falls apart lol, trip over the garden knomes, never a washing line tho but we take them down I do have a tendency to break cups its quiet embarrassing My best moment was getting a big tree down a tight spot and on the last cut i cleaned the cut a nice little disc flew off the end of the saw and cracked a tile a proper plum moment.
