  19. ooooooooooooooooooooooooo new toy to be added to the christmas list
  20. maybe picking faults but the front axle isnt central to the wheel arch, so has the body been put on using the orginal dico outriggers and not new ones put on for the correct fitmeant of the defender ones, as disco 100" wheelbase and defender either 92" (90) or 110
  21. Only worry would be to look for stress in the chassis, as disco's chassis are lighetr than defender ones so could be likely to crack under the loads tha defender can carry nevermind the forces applied by the tipper gear
  22. As far as I understand it if you train weight exceeds 3.5tonne for commerical use then tacho is required. Land rovers get exception to operators license as dual purpose but there is a limit to the unladened weight of the trailer if I recall correctly, if over this then OL is neeeded
  23. Total max train weight for agri machines is 24.5tons Ie its stamped on the information plates of tractors
  24. Think am right in sayin you should have no more than 150kg of nose weight as this is all the hitch and ball are rated too. otherweise if you get pulled by VOSA you will get fined and possibly have to address nose weight by unloading part of the load
  25. As long as axles on the trailer then can have an overhang as long as mark the over hang with something to make it stand out or other road users following you
