  5. Just donated:thumbup1: Hope he gets better soon.
  6. I love my cs100. So glad that I bought one. Cart it about in my trailer, store it in my back garden which I get to through an alleyway. Fits through doorways, easy to push about, chips really well.
  7. my works vehicle is a j reg:thumbup:
  8. The reason I went for a small chipper is that with a towable chipper you need a vehicle to chip into which I haven't got, I have a swb vw van. Also I have nowhere to store a towable chipper where as I can get a small one into my own back garden and lock it up securely. Plus I have nowhere to store chip and logs so a tipper wouldn't really be the best thing. I have the van, a trailer and the wee chipper:thumbup:
  9. Well spotted! thanks for the tip about the pull cord, will do that. Yeah that window was a bit close, I did angle it away when the pile got higher!
  10. Couldn't stop feeling smug as I wheeled it through all the narrow passageways and round tight corners:thumbup:
  11. Hi Rich, was cool to meet you, dangerous living so close to that shop!
  12. oh and a great service from FR Jones as usual, very helpful, cheers guys:thumbup:
  13. Well I have just got back from being in Kent for a week or so. Picked up my new cs100 14hp from FR Jones last week, then got 4 jobs with it while I was down there:thumbup: I can say that I am very pleased with the chipper, it just sucks the branches in, had to get through door ways to get to the back gardens, no problem, left all the chip and logs at each job apart from one dumpy bag of chip:thumbup1: I'll get some photos up soon, wee chippers are the way to go:001_cool:
  14. Self employed, Justin in Windermere, guy in Shap quite a lot recently, and a little of my own stuff, but need lots of money so I can get a chipper and a better vehicle:001_huh:
  15. Alright Paul:thumbup1: Seen you about a few times. I gave you a ring couple of years ago about work. Nice saws:thumbup:
  16. Visited these guys today. Very helpful and friendly. Will definately go there in the future. Could spend loads at their place, wife had to drag me away!
  17. Been using it all day today and love it:thumbup1: Much easier, might mess with the hitch a bit, but seems ok now that I put an extra turn on it. Used my new rope today too, new rope and hitch cord makes it a little slippy:lol: Cheers to everyone for their help:001_smile:
  18. Well I have a hitchclimber now, been practising the setup on the bannisters, cheers taffupatree for the pictures:thumbup1: The wife thinks I'm mad:confused1: Will be trying it out on Monday:thumbup:
  19. I've got 2 thermos ones and both are really good I find. Keep it nice and hot. Can't drink my tea quick enough it's that hot!
  20. Thanks for the pictures, that's helped.
  21. ok great thanks, yeah lots of people are saying it's better than the old way! When you say self tend, is this when the rope slides through the knot and pulley when you are climbing with both hands above the set up and pull down and walk up?
