  1. looks good to me, i think doing that is much better than felling, aslong as the tree is in the right location
  2. I use a opinel knife, i cut down, cause i kept holding blade and cutting myself, so i modified it

  7. Hello, im 20 years old, have around 1 year climbing experience, 2 1/2 in the job. I hold cs30 cs31 cs38 cs39, I have my own ppe, climbing saw, climbing kit, and transport.   9. well im still very young,at 20, im self employed i have spent my saving on essetial equipment, such as chipper, pick up and climbing kit, but a also have kept in touch with people i used to work for so i have work to fall back on by subing of off them, as i dont have anywhere near enough work to keep my self going. as for helpers i have a mate who is a fair but older doing the same so when we need a team we come together, i wouldn't want it any other way, as you can do anything then.

    Does any one know what those wide forks are called that are really common for shoveling chip, i cant find them any where?
