It sounds like youve got an admirable attitude and its that that will get you through this, sure there will be crap days and times you wonder why, but you will carry on through and you will make the best of whatever outcome youre faced with. Keep strong fellar, your bravery will be an example to us all. All the best, Dave.
  5. Evening. Does anyone have a link to a manual and or specs for a 2003 model tw 150 please. Many thanks, Dave.
  6. Oi David Bailey, you were supposed to get my good side.... amateur!
  7. Had a good one. Cheers to Graham for sorting the venue, and good to meet you. It was good to catch up with the rest of you and have a good laugh. We'll have to not leave it so long this time until the next one.
  8. Mark, I've used the plugs i shoot with. simple re usable valve types, can't remember the brands but i'll look for you. advantage is you can still hear people talking and they're cheap enough, usually between 12-20 quid.
  9. Count me in. Any time suits me, might as well make the most of the day. For those who have never been to a meet before, it's a good opportunity to share tips and experience and make new contacts in the industry. Will be good to catch up with some familiar faces and meet new ones.
  10. did someone say south east meet up? bring back the the good times!
  11. good info. i'll have to look further into course availability. i know the isa can be done anytime and the next assessment date is april, not sure how i stand with the rfs although that course is sounding more favourable, sods law! thanks for the advice.
  12. fair play to you, good luck.
  13. thanks tom. am i right in thinking that essentially both certs are of an equal or does one hold more weight than the other? the syllabuses seem to be similar so is it that one just covers slightly more than the other or are they pretty much the same course?
  14. thanks for the reply paul. i meant the isa cert arb when i wrote isa2. really looking for a distinction between that and the rfs cert arb and if there is a particular advantage to one over the other. also what the training options are for both. its been a struggle finding information on them. as both quals are governed by different bodies they couldnt give me a comparative example when i spoke to either parties. anyone whos done either or experienced both that could shed any light please do. thanks.
  15. a little guidance please... i'm wanting to do the tech cert(qcf4) but having missed the enrolment date and the next one almost a year away i think i would benefit from taking one of the level 2 courses in the meantime. my dilema is which one. ive done some ringing around and some searching of the net but i'm still unsure which is going to be the most beneficial. if anyone could highlight key benefits of either or even any other suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. many thanks.
