  5. :001_huh:hi chaps anyone know what this tree is its a big un local farmer told me it came down in the wind,took the wires down with it he said i can have the wood,but dont want to spend hours cutting it up if its crap as fire wood i know most trees,ash,oak,beech etc cant seem to find this one,in a tree id book many thanks hope pics are clear enough martyn

  11. worlds toughest tribes loggers started at 10 but will be on plus 1 [sky 167] ben anderson joins loggers in canada i have seen this before and its very good,some big trees:thumbup1:
  12. done cs38/39 with them in august this year,they are fab to deal with and nothing is too much trouble,from the admin[caroline]to andrew the owner and chris out trainer: they are very supportive before and throughout the course all four of us on the course passed i left feedback on their website [see training feedback] if i am going to take any more nptc certs they will all be done through proclimber martyn amos.
  13. hi all i have a husky 323 strimmer,was looking on the bay,there are 3 husky polesaw heads for sale,will they fit on the strimmer shaft??? ive been up garage and taken off strimmer head,the spine through the shaft has seven spines/teeth/gears

  16. same here,i am 39 only stung once as a kid? then got stung last year when fishing,then this year when on 38/39 i alway worry about anaphylactic shock:laugh1:

  18. i agree,there seems to be a lot of nests,but not seen many wasps in general? strange
  19. i think when the weather gets cold,they do get very aggressive?

    wasps

    worked in three different gardens this week and came across 3 wasp nests any one else having same prob 1 nest under conifers i was trimming,1 in a grass pile and 1 in a bungalow roof i dont like angry wasps,when i was on cs38/39 in august,i got stung in between the fingers[not nice]
