  7. yes with a name like sasha,i dont know any boys called sasha [did know a male tracy?] when they say bridgend,do they mean pencoed collage[very expensive] you want to look at nptc site under training providers, and fined local trainers! when i took 30/31 it was in the vale of glamorgan[trainer hywel rees] from the vale, very good trainer with good prices:thumbup: when i took 38/39 proclimber [west wales]outstanding quality and service and again good prices best of luck,i hope you get some help. martyn

  9. how did you tackle huge oaks on cs31? max tree size of 15"
  10. when i hire a chipper off my local dealer its a tp 6" and i think its awesome! basic but awesome:thumbup1: when i was on sub-contract work for a company for 6 months hedgelaying, they hired a tracked greenmech with all the fancy dan digital controls for speed, start, run, blah, blah we had loads of problems with it and the safety stop cut out bar run around the bottom and sides, when you were feeding the hopper, branches would stop the feed by hitting the safety bar with the tp bar runs around the top and sides-no probs what so ever, just turn the key and feed

  16. chainsdirect -oregon can £18.50 [on offer] free post [2 spouts]
  17. yep! good spot mark hard to believe he was knocking out guys in the 1920s and passed away in 1983 [87 yrs old] that a good stretch for a heavy weight from that era,as they just used to fight until you drop, and he was a bar room brawler to make some cash!
  18. CRYSTAL wish my dad bought me my 1st car:lol:
  19. jam when i was on 38/39 i had my own top handle that i bought with out the tickets. one of the other guys on the course had to borrow a top handle,he went to buy one from a dealer and was refuse cos he did not have the ticket?he was told to come back when/if he past,[we all passed] THINK IT DEPENDS ON THE DEALER.....
  20. yes!crazy prices? i would buy one at the right price £200/£250 but £450 s/h i have bought used saws in the past and they are still going strong [approx 2 yrs ago]its a risk you take! i also think the prices on e-bay are high and they are selling well, because up until recently you could shop around on the internet for the best price and then buy[and some dealers would sell to unqualified users online] i know because i bought one before i got my tickets? but now stihl/huskys new policy is no postage, you can order online but must pickup in the shop?
  21. like i said in an above post,i think they hope to sell to a unqualified user! who cannot purchase from a shop? you run a shop jonesie, what you sell a top handle to a buyer who walked into your shop and wanted to buy, with out cs38/39? martyn
  22. another just been listed on e-bay.buy it now £450
