  5. if you can stretch to another £50,you could get a used husqvarna 346xp which is a smashing little saw

  7. 346xp had mine nicked a few weeks back [gutted] was given a brand new 261 the next day by the boss [even more gutted] told him i was going to sell it to buy another 346,so he give me a 357xp [cant grumble ] still miss the old 346xp will get another one day

  10. arbgirl,meself and another chap were taken on as new employees [full time/perm] he has not been to the unit and does not know where it is [we pick him up on the way to work] and i am as honest as the days long [honest] when the saws were taken,one was myown and there was also the other chaps saw taken so i hope and would not like to think it was a inside job:001_huh: put it this way,i dont leave anything of mine in the unit over night,not even a coat
  11. cheers sam,from what we know they came in well prepare,looks like a pro job, came in with a lorry
  12. started working for a local tree sevices company 16 march on 22 march went to work,sent back home,the unit was broken into and all saws taken [previous thread] at the moment we have foresrty contracts,felling all the diseased larch [just felling] there is another team,felling large firs in a different forest,where they have to fell,snead,crosscut and extract when they went in friday,someone had only nicked the tractor from the forest:blushing: makes you think,just bad luck or is the company a target ?
  13. hope that it stops the diisease spreading all over the uk i think they are trying to contain it,but saying that it came to south wales from the south west of england? we have been told that the forestry commision are going to replace with redwoods
  14. we are cutting thousands of larch down in the afan valley [neath,south wales] they are all diseased and will go to port talbot for bio mass
  15. tis a good un lor made me laugh me head off,when sent to me as a text in the middle of the forestry,i almost dropped my saw:thumbup:
