    Have a couple of felling jobs coming up in the Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill area. Probably at least a couple of transit loads mainly ash but mixed with some pop up for grabs if anybody interested. All free of course! Can deliver free provided not too far 5-10 mile radius, however your welcome to collect off site. Also need to find a tip site if anyone knows anywhere I'd appreciate it. Obviously prepared to pay.     A number of full time vacancies have arisen for Arborists of all capabilities to work for a leading Arboricultural company based in the South of England. Specifically we're looking for those based in and around Andover, Basingstoke, Romsey, Southampton, Portsmouth, Fareham and all over the New Forest.     Lucombe wouldn't be out of the question, Turners is pretty rare. From what I understand lucombe only has hairs on the terminal bud not side buds? The lobes also have wiskered tips? It's most likely a cerris hybrid.

    I wouldn't dismiss Q.cerris completely out of hand, the leaves can be quite variable depending on different factors. One of the most distinctive features is long hairs on the buds?

    It doesn't mention most will be approved contractors only that most will be 'members of the Arb association' which is not the same thing and IMO would have been a poorer statement. Anyone can be a member of the Arb association.

    Yes, defo speak with your insurance provider on that one. If you're undertaking large scale safety inspections you may require PI for up to 5 years after the inspection, with single tree condition reports it will depend on any caveats you attach with the report.

    Congratulations. Been browsing your website and couldn't see whether or not you were AAAC's? For such a large 'green services provider' does that have an impact on what arboricultural contracts you've been able to secure up to now? Also noticed the recent 'advert' on here regarding setting up a team and providing a substantial sum of the finance towards it. Is this the norm across the company and how it has been able to expand so quickly in such a short period of time or solely as part of expanding the Arb side?

    Can't blame you really given the notification but can open a can of worms moving any car even when properly planned. Very frustrating esp. On street trees when trees have been signed, no parking cones put out and residents informed of the dates of work commencement you still get those who ignore and pull the signs down and/ or move the cones. The recovery company who I've used to legit move cars have to take a video of each car as evidence of car condition and notify the police prior to moving (particularly important when moving from one street to another!).

    Require the use of a free tip site in north yorkshire as close to Leeming Bar/ Bedale as poss. please. 'Clean chip' only and some nice Beech timber/ logs likely. Any help appreciated.

    Hard to tell from those pics but BTM has two very distinctive red spots on the end of its tail and a dotted white line down each side. Could be the Lackey moth which is blue and white with orange stripes.
