  2. Your operations looking good. I was not going to start selling till next winter but I think I might dip my toe into the water to increase the learning curve.

  7. Yes that was his quote to do just that but then I realised that my little MS250 would not be big enough to ring the main trunk so he is now doing that and we are calling it 80. Its the ash tree in the `is this dead thread` in the tree health forum.
  8. I have been quoted £40 to drop a large ash tree into a field by a proffessional tree surgeon and when I commented that it seemed cheap he said `its only three cuts` top man
  9. I think you really need to learn something that I learnt many years ago due to my natural good looks ... you really do need to learn to laugh at yourself and not take life to seriously ... no harm was meant by anyones comments .. its just banter.

  15. When I was having a building demolished once a mate asked if he could have the Parquet floor blocks and I jokingly said that I had a load of rusty nails if he fancied polishing those but the laugh was on me because it looked beautiful in his house when cleaned up.

  17. Has anyone got any practical experience of The Tree Of Heaven as firewood. I have read that it burns well but gives off an unpleasant smell??
  18. I`ve been looking at that one and its being towed by a tractor same as mine in the pic
  19. I dont suppose my 35hp tractor would pull that???
