  7. Is it 2wd or 4wd? Does it have a underslung deck? I would say somewhere around 3-4k I nearly bought a BX2350 a month or so ago at just over 10k + vat for the 4wd and cutting deck.

Hi Dave; I own a small petrol splitter like the one your looking at as wells as a tractor powered and a road towable splitter and to be honest compared to the tractor powered splitter or the riko a11 its pretty poor on knotty or twisted timber. I would consider something like the A11 road towable, a bigger woodline machine or something similar. If you have access to a tractor you can get a good hydraulic splitter for your 1k budget.

  16. Had my 18hp CS100 for about 6 months now and have been very impressed with it, Not tried the others but would recommend the CS100 easily sprays chips to the front of the transit.

  21. I would like to upgrade my little japa 100 for something better, I have seen the technorton ones and they looked good, well built etc. I cant find the technorton ones for sale new? What would you recommend i upgrade to, i dont need the splitter part?
  22. Ive finally got a ranger tipper i have wanted one for a while i mainly do small jobs so weight capacity isnt too much of a concern just need some greedy boards or sides to chip into. Ive got a nice L200 for sale if your interested

  25. Hi Rob; You have got Kartaways on the Essex regiment way not sure on their prices after they had that fire they seem to have got expensive. Theres also a good clean site on the Tiptree road, i think its called Applewood or something similar was about £25.00 tonne. Get talking to local land owners, farmers etc they normally take chip for free
