  1. I wish this business was a simple affair! you know, stand by tree press the tab location locked and logged then type in comments, go back to office print off map in A3 and dowload report info. its all beyond my simple mind! too many options and methods!

  4. with this chipper your limiting yourself to small garden type contractor hire, as any serious tree firm will be looking at a small tow type chipper as a minimum.

I was and still am suffering with the worst head cold so this tree yesterday felt like an epic, make things worse we didnt get away from site till gone 6pm, I sometimes wonder whether soldiering on when your rough as ... is worth it, certainly didnt feel worth it yesterday! Spec was to previous points or as near as possible/practicable at around 15ft in old money, 4 meters in new money.
  6. thanks rich, Im thinking of getting a chipper first and a tow hitch on me estate for now, maybe let the cat 5 isuzus come down in price a little first and have the flexibility of owning a chipper and subbing in a man with a tipper for when needed. Should make me a more viable asset as a freelance climber too if ive got a nice lightwieght TW125:thumbup:

I would think Military grade:biggrin: but havent tried it yet, caught one this morning moving in on my new blank canvas of a garden:thumbdown: I think an automated sprinkler is the way for now, and progressive solutions till I have a cat free garden.
