  1. The resilience of trees sometimes amazes me. This oak opitimizes this view. Found this clump of flowers beautiful but a little odd at the same time.
  2. Thats a great find.....you must have been very excited David. You too Hama Exactly how rare is it? How many sites has it been found on? Has it been rec orded in Richmond Pk do you know? I'll ask anyway when i'm there the morrow. How is it id'd any pointers just in case.

  5. i'm a very late starter.....playing catch up.......jumped in with an id and didnt even look at the host. Getting better on the fungs though and learning learning learning! Only went to the park as a driver one day......bloke called in sick and i stood in for him....been there since. sssssh!

  14. not a forgotten art in Galicia, Spain Tony.........came across these last summer. Still very much practiced resulting in some very special trees and a very special landscape.......get over there mate you'll love it:thumbup:

  16. i'm happy just being in a wood that i havent been in before.....easily pleased me.......a quick and concise in the differences in the ganodermas would be good though! Oh I also want to see some pixies and nymphs if you know where they hide out:thumbup:

  20. i definately have a soft spot for old pollards.....came across this one in epping forest last week.......its a real beauty in my eyes:thumbup:

  22. Read that you were looking for some trees for brewery mate...... try snowy mespilus......fantastic autumn foliage.....beautiful flowers and not too big! All your requirements. google image it and see it in its full glory.
