  1. many thanks for your help, 1 thing ive never been able to fix is non oiling saws anything else i can do just not the oiler, i shall get on it tomorow and give it a try with what you have said, if all else fails ive ordered a new oil pump so ill stick that on.
  2. ok so i stripped it down again, really blasted it out with the air compressor took clutch off and really cleaned it all out by the oil pump. put it all back together, ran it for abit, still no oil took it to bits and oil has appeared where i have marked red. any ideas??
  3. need help with my 372xp its not been oiling for some time now. ive tryed draining out the oil tank and filling with new, ive tryed air hose cleaning out the bar and where oil comes out. what is the most likely thing that it could be, or any nifty quick tricks to test what it could be?? any help would be appriciated
  4. one from today end of the line of conifers, back leaning over the house all the weight in the opposite direction, got the landy winch half way up it, then redirected so it was about pulling it about double the angle where i wanted it to land. the idea behind that being it would pull it upright and the weight at the back would snap the hinge and it would fall sideways. exactly what did happen only got pics after i fell it from behind and then half way through clearing it away, obvious targets were the house and the glass house with swimming pool inside and the electric wires running down the side. all in all saved a hell of alot of hassle

  15. every tree has a possiblility of droping a limb at any time no matter how much you look after, reduce etc they are unpredictable. so if we fell every tree that has shed a limb and is within falling distance of a building or busy area we will fell alomost every tree. ive had enough of all this covering people in cotton wool trying to take away every possible way imaginable of some one getting injured or killed. its part of life that tragic acidents will happen.

  19. what kind of equipment have you got to pick up the wood, hiab etc?? because if its just a normal tipper truck, i would have to cut it up before you would be able to collect it, but if i do that i might aswell take it back to my yard and sell it as firewood. if you have a hiab etc i will keep you in mind, if i get any more crane jobs etc

  23. i did think about if it was needed. in the end i thought ill stick it on the end, some people (mostly older people) like to know how you do it, and dont want a guy in shorts turning up with a big ladder no ropes i think the bit about the lowering rope maybe more of interest though, alot of people do worry about damage being caused still ill take your word for the voice
