  1. Must be a stolen one i cant see any one taking there saws to a cash converters
  2. That is a awesome picture any more pics from that job looked a fun 1
  3. Timberwolfs have been well known for the chassis snapping there due to vibrations or something if i remember right
  4. I love huskys esspecially 372's there best saw ever made!!! But my last 1 the exhaust spat out 2 bolts the dogs came loose the side caseing nut fell off and the chain brake nuts fell off 2/3 times didnt matter what you did they would come off
  5. That vid is a cracker for showing the plus's if the device ive never really used the tension arm if im honest, but that vid has made me think maybe i should more often
  6. Ive never had a major problem with mine, the other day did a spread out tree few different pulleys on seperate stems a branch got hung up in a neighbouring tree we lifted it abit then it got to the point where the jaws would just slip on the rope. But i just accept its not a gcrs or hobbs its designed to preload and lift to a extent. I reackon there was to much friction up top and it just didnt have enough grip in the jaws to pull any more. We were useing a small rope 12/13 mm which didnt help things. I cant see how it would escape the jaws all together though with the gate down.
  7. U just did
  8. Yep every tree is different every climber is different every groundie is different why videos and pictures never show the true job long as it gets done well who cares about the inbetween bits
  9. I did when i could but the low branches cant be tip tied or butt tied as there wasnt room under them higher up isnt a issue for it low down they need to be balanced so not to brake the fences
  10. In which case you could have the best positioning the ideal anchor point and balancing but you are still at risk of being hit if the groundie isnt good at letting it run, i can safely say nothing came remotely close to me at any point on that tree.
  11. So if you wouldnt do it remotely how i done it how would you do it? Why will he get lumped by a branch he knows what the plan is for each piece i cut and lower where he wants to stand is his own choice you dont see groundsmen telling climbers where to position...
  12. Yes you can and boy does it cut with 15in to 24in 3/8ths bar
  13. Im still undecided if im going to jones show its on my bday so not sure yet.
  14. I dont think most people would have the kit needed to unbolt it all off the chassis and move it onto a new 1 though, wouldnt catch many trying it i dont think.
  15. The chassis on the timberwolfs is what goes after a good few years
  16. I dont see how people can live with a crap covered lawn discusting! Thanks, we were useing my stein dual bollard much smoother than a portawrap.
  17. Pic of the stump
  18. Well it is confined space technically garden was about 2-3 meters wide fences either side with little shrubs either side to protect couple sheds to miss and the dog mine field aswell
  19. Thats the way forward
  20. Wasnt my job unfortunatly i was just climbing if it was my job id have picked it all up and put it on there doorstep i cant stand people who dont even bother to try clear up all through the day it was let out to leave fresh stuff!!!
  21. just a fairly tight drop zone for this little ash all in i was up the tree 4 hours would have been dramaticlly less if there was 2 guys on the ground instead of just the 1 never mind. the tree is hollow under the actual tree and a out tear out cavity on the main stem. only thing that was annoying was the drop zone being so small and the dog sh*t covered garden and the drag turned out better than expected as a neighbour let us throw it over there fence and out.
