  1. We use it to patch roads in a one hit repair it is dot spec try it I was sceptical about it it seems to work make sure you use joint paint between new and old and compact it well then do some more the more care you take the better it looks try to get a nice clean vertical edge ,we use 3mm size with a 10 MM deep edge compact with a flat punner on small areas and Whacker plate on larger areas cut back to good tarmac/ ashphalt give the surface a good sweep before using any cleaners and make sure none are left before patching

  4. What size do you get machine flow or the flow in the drain pipe?
  5. Should it not also have a positive connection to the steering ie steel and not rely on hydraulic pipes
  6. Looks like cab frame distorted means tops/fops no longer valid
  7. I asked about this and was told the valve would be in permanent float unless the leaver was pulled or pushed to operate the valve,
  8. Hydraulic rotation or not. It depends on what you are doing and how good you are on the machine, The bmg on a boom is good for loading the chipper if it’s got rotation but very poor if you are skidding or dragging logs out, however it can only carry the log horizontal so making the machine with load either wide or long, if you use a Klou style grab you can also carry the log vertically good in confined space and you can also grab standing trees shrubs and posts etc these are manual rotation with a locking pin, with hydraulic rotation when you break a pipe you have a mess to clean up.a good operator should be able to nudge the grab into the right position without hydraulics, plus you will also need to have two services to the head stock or a electric switched valve and wire something else to catch, snag or go wrong, mini loaders pick up far less than you want them to so the closer to the machine the grab the more you pick up, personally I like the Klou grab but your machine your choice.

  17. Speak to them, emergency notice usually is given on the day, find out who the local highway inspector is, where is the job my assistant has phone numbers for quite a few round England and Wales
  18. Emergency tm means just that roll up on the day and inform the highways what’s going on we do three a week you need to contact highways yourself and talk it through They will be able to give input usually they will give you times for work usually after nine and finish by 3.30 as you are not digging up the road if you are closing the whole road you are down for all diversion costs you traffic management price seems cheap
