  12. ok, mans interpretation of religion but isn't that were are lot of problems are caused... interpretation. ones mans thoughts and ideas can cause offence to another the way an individual thinks and learns and then makes judgements is mostly human nature. some one on here had a good quote "The wise man lives life with an open mind, without attachment to his own ideas and perspectives totally prepared to be proven wrong at any minute and have his life's work disproven by someone who's thinking outside the box" and from what i've read hama, you seem to follow this to an extent but you can never change everybody so don't beat yourself up and keep up the good work:thumbup:
  13. Five ways the world could end Five ways the world could end - Yahoo! News UK
  14. thers's normally more than one hijacker too! so.... whats for tea?
  15. and that is another arguement - affluence vs knowledge!
  16. yeh i have a copy, and use it too when trying to "educate" poeple at the moment i'm agency for a LA and most people in tthe area (which isn't very affluent) are not bothered:confused1: as long as the tree comes down:sneaky2: tis going to be a long hard graft
  17. if he's only got 4 years climbing and no tickets thats not really "time served" is it...?
  18. haha. like i said, not a criticism but more of a critique... is that differetn?? we all know spelling is a lot of peoples downfall, mine included!
  19. i shall endeavour to comment:thumbup: I Haven't, no. Its not very clear where that is:blushing:
  20. do you need to be an AA member to attend?
  21. exactly, if the general public know what to ask for and have a bit of nouse about the subject like other trades eg, if you want a leccy nowadays to do something, doesn't EVERYTHING have to be certified when installed, or something like that? If more people knew about arb as a trade that has a lot of SKILLED workers and also a lot of rogue traders (not trying to bracket people) then surely that can only be a good thing can't it? But would it be worth the effort it would probably take? few programs on watchdog, like someone suggested in my 200t one handed thread
  22. monkey, not a criticism... but... i love using the fungi directory but find it very hard to use, especially the search feature which is that what its for, searching fungi? what i mean is when someone on here posts a pic of fung i try to find the name of it and first of all fgo to the gallery, then search by a-z, then try to find it by keywords describing that fungus, i have started noticing spelling mistakes which is why when i am searching for things that i know to be true, things don't pop up (i have found words like bracket spelt braket, cinnamon spelt cinamon and a few others i would have to go back and check.. so don't get me wrong, it is NOT a criticism but i think if the search tool could be utilised better maybe more people would use it:blushing:
  23. how about getting the general public to know about this stuff? would it be worthwhile? or would i open up the debate of AA approved or not AA approved, and thats something i don't want to do haha
