    been meaning to put these up for a while, as there's not much work photos on tonight. Its the end result of felling a large beech with suspect gano australis and a bit of kretch I posted on here a while ago. I will try to put the pics in some sort of sensible order. We took it down as kids bus stop underneath and very busy road pavement etc.

    A neighbour of mine had this problem a few years ago. I took his little stainless food bowl outside and tapped it with the fork she used to make his dinner with,he was out of that tree in a flash. He had been up there for a couple of days so was proper hungry. once he started moving he just ran down the tree.

    Got a quadchip on demo this week then the new TW240.Will be interesting to see how they compare.

    Thanks Sloth the branch failure happened in high winds its about 14 inches across,the rot is soft and pulpy.Its in conservation area so we will get the county arborist to have a look but my gut feeling is "chainsaws at dawn" cheers

    Found this today any ideas,The trees owner is worried as its on a main road over a bus stop used by loads of school kids.its about 6m up the stem.

    It would be a good idea to remove the funnel and put your hand down and check the fan blades are all there, they are only made of mag/ally.(obviously engine of and careful not to squash fingers:biggrin:)

    Hi just a heads up. Another one last night nr Cheltenham. Not me but my nearest neighbouring tree company. Don't know full details but they came across fields and took all gear but not chipper or stump grinder. I just found out from a mutual friend/climber/subbie.

    I hope someone is looking into things like employees. they could have all employed the same guy at different times.I would like to think plod would do this but they have to turn up first.

    I wonder if these thieving scumbags do a risk assessment before sneaking around on private property in the dark.I think they should and look into good accident cover.

    Sorry to hear to, will keep an eye open. We are in Glos.Its happening more often round here, I try to keep my kit split up some at home some at work, here there and everywhere really its the only way I can feel safe. All the best PM me if you need a borrow to keep you rolling.

    I think it is but it seems to be located mostly around or on the fire damage or lightning strike damage.anouther pic. I had to hurry as I had hopped the fence but could not resist taking a pic.

    spotted this next door to where I was working today,so hopped over the fence for the picks, I was going to call on the owner to say I think its Honey fungus then I thought I would run it by you guys for confirmation to avoid making a tit out of myself.

    Hey Rob I've got 2 logs about 8foot and 2-3 foot circ I think at Evesham.     hey sean, i can get you a free tip 3 miles from leckhampton in bishops cleeve.A farmer mate of mine they burn loads of logs and he will take a load of chip for giving him the logs. Let me know if the job comes of. trevor. [email protected]
