  1. Not a good idea grinding plastic on a bench grinder, causes them to block up and explode.
  2. however it has no chain brake and is missing a nut off the sprocket cover. i believe the parts to be obsolete so i was wondering if any body could point me in the right direction to find a replacement. Try starting a new thread on this as there are a few people with parts for these saws on here. Welcome to the forum by the way.
