    Wind

used to but not any more. i think its because i have kids now. its ok if the day after the storm is good but if not its just another crappy day in the rain. and nobody answers their phone when you need a hand. god i sound so old and grumpy. i better join that group.
  2. i have been meaning to try these. i have been using the hard legs for 4 years now and are excellent, but i am not :001_smile:climbing as much so i am getting a bit soft and the shins arent as tuff as they used to be. are the velcro ones comfier or just easier to put on?
  3. watch this big hugh will give that old tanker a few hits with a sledgy.and PROPER JOB. stick a fifth wheel on his back and he will drag it there.

  9. well since you have such a cosy fleece and loads of new carbs you can be the winch man, i will sit up in the cockpit with plyers trying to undo my old screwgates with the heaters on:001_tt1:

  11. just refer to them as 'papys magic boots' i'm with you mate. spikes all the way. if you are good and dont go slipping about all over the place. big steps lovely jubbily!
  12. it sounds like they have a new toy and want to play with it, so why not try it out on some willows in afield and burn the brash. sounds like another 'proper job' to me. i bet they used tyres to start the fire and found some carbon release reason to do it instead of a car doing 40.000 miles poluting the atmosphere over 2 years just torch the pirellis instead.yeehaa!
  13. stop going on about all your prizes, and thanking everyone for all your prizes. from a not very bitter swamp lover:sad:
  14. moggy looks like a toy beside the crane? i would end up in beside it.
  15. arbtalk i wish i tried harder at school
  16. its in a nightmare bit, single track rd, below the crane the field drops away at about 30 degrees then drops straight into a huge glen, this is one lucky guy. we are all wondering how they plan to get it out, if scrap was high it would be gone by now in the back of a couple of transits. i will keep you posted on how its going. i wreckon the best way would be a couple of monster track machines and drag it out. the crane crossed 2 bridges it shouldnt have to get there. so who knows how they will get kit in, or dismantle it. it will be good to see anyway:001_smile:
  17. pretty much the same story here, good soil and no light, its good if they get a chance to grow straight. a lot of sway on them when they get really tall.
