  3. Horrible evil trees, i have felled 3 and stripped ivy off another. I found the bark really crumbly. I couldnt believe the weight in the branches. Beautiful milled. woodturners can carve them so thin you can see thru them.(i heard?) get big gloves like the others say.
  4. Martin, stephen Blair here or (nutter) If you are going to tell stories, you must remember to include all the facts. firstly you dont have any tree insurance so you had to work under mine you were 90 mins late. you were shown the rot and damage on the tree, this was not a problem to you. We discussed that once the wait was off the limb, take the head out then there would be room to fell. I left to get the turfer and 88. You made the decision not to climb the tree, which i respect. You explained to me that the tree was too dangerous to climb. inwhich i replied well if you dont do it i am going to do it because i think it is climbable. We left it at that. we agreed you would pm tonight to arrange payment. Now today we had a bit of texting that started nice and ended up with you calling me a Meathead. But that was all over payment. I explained to you before hiring you that i wanted someone who is able to tackle anything, you told me you were very experienced and you were the man. I think you should stop kidding yourself that you are an amazing experienced climber and just admit the tree was too much for you. But you are better not do something you dont want to, because that is what keeps you alive. I am off on holiday now, and i am going to do the tree when i come back, If you are right then this may be my final post. I am not discussing the matter here any further. you have my mobile number if you want to discuss it further.
