  1. couldnt agree with you more mate:thumbup:
  2. i have finally bought a pile of these small net bags. they are 60x45.how much are you guys selling them at. i see them at petrol station for about a fiver:scared1:i managed to fit 10 small logs in them, and i will be making a gizmo like angus's to fill them because i gave up after trying to fill one of them:ohmy:
  3. i have about 15 ton bags of it steve, splits and smells amazing. i am giving it to die hard hardwood customers to promote burning softwood. i have an old logburner out in the garden for messing about with, burnt for hrs and left hardly any ash:001_smile:
  4. if you want something seriously tuff and strong, spend a bit extra and get a swazi, bramble and brash proof. you will get 4-5 years easy out it mate.
  5. it pretty much rains here all the time, if we are lucky we get a good april and maybe a few frosty days in winter, summers are here or there. i spent years with crap jackets getting soaked to the skin, i used to have a north face jacket that hung up for years in the closet to keep it good and freeze all day at work in winter, i started wearing it to work, amazing dry and cozy all day, thats when i realised. stop blowing 60quid a weekend on drink(13years ago) and scrue the nut, and put my money towards proper things. thats why last year i spent a small fortune on a tractor with crane so i can stay warm and dry most of the winter and base my work around it. i know too many guys in their 40s that are goosed with knackered joints and bad back. ok big girls blouse rant over.
  6. good find, i would be crapping myself up there, but every boat would be fair game. i think you would need to go there to believe the size and scale of the hotel and palm tree house develpoement:001_smile:
  7. cheers they certainly look like they know there stuff, those 4x4 demo trailers are amazing. thanks tom:001_smile:
  8. had a look cheers, and sent them an email. pricier than my local dealer. but they might do a discount if they want the work.
  9. the hardest bit about it all is the fact that he used to love the whole bath thing justin, i think we need to put all that to the side and just start a fresh. hopefully the mrs will get the bath glupe today:001_smile:i spoke to another guy today at work, who had the same bother with his 2 kids, it is reasuring when other folk are going through the same and we arent being crap parents. as jjj says they are the most precious things in the world and the thought of them being upset goes against all your feelings. its funny when i tell folk i joined a forum, they all snigger as if i am a geek, then i tell them how it has helped me so much in so many different ways, usually with work but this kind of help is priceless.
  10. well i am now smelling lovely, what a difference when its not a rush job after tea before bed time, started running the bath, smallstuff came for a nosy and told me he didnt want one, i told him it was for me, he wondered off, i started making loads of noise with splashing and stuff, he appeared, telling me 'no bath daddy' with in a few minutes he had his sleeves rolled up and was dipping his toy mog in the water as well as splashing everywhere. i didnt didnt force the bath issue with him, i had a bath, he scrubbed my back and scooshed my hair. and we both got a chocy biscuit.:001_smile:thats a good few steps further than last night. nice one guys:001_smile:
  11. i never did buy myself those boots, looked brutal but i did buy them for the workers:sneaky2:they were like michellin v-treds:001_smile:
  12. my dads friend made me one up years ago, was ok but with the small toe behinds it would never blast it in tightly so you would have to climb under and shove it about, then water would lie on it and make it sag, i would recommend a small front skip about 4 feet coming over the top at the front, and a brush, i got fed up with it myself personally and took the harp off. i think it got burnt:ohmy:
  13. right thats it, he is getting dunked right now, i might stick a flume in from the chimney breast thru the window and make a game of it. just tried to call you there mate, your mrs says you are out:sneaky2:either she doesnt really know you are on the computer or i fried your head the last time we talked:001_tongue:
  14. remember i am the boss mate, the radio and heaters were disconnected years ago, its warmer and more pleasant out my vehicles:sneaky2:
  15. i think you are spot on their jas, as you know i am right into energy and aura, and he is definately feeding off me, i think we will wait till he stinks that bad, he will go for a bath himself, but being a boy plus my son, we could be in for a long wait:001_tongue:
  16. i would like to buy it complete all lovely and galvinised from the manufacturer, rather then get a fabricator to add it on, i have phoned jenkins in ayr but they wont do it, they just want to sell the basic model:thumbdown: i got a transit back door made up years ago with removable pins, like a cylage trailer. it was excellent. thanks tom.
  17. hi guys, i am looking to buy a new galvinised trailer. i want a tipper, but i also want a back door ramp. the trailer will have the high cage sides. my mate has one but when you want to tip you have to take off the back cage, then undo the back door. i find this a pain, takes longer and more chance of someone running them over, the back ramped door is excellent for dragging dumpy bags on, minidigger/tracked chippers and the likes. surely its a matter of some extra barn door hinges at the top and some removable pins top and bottom. advice please.
  18. i read that you dont need a liscense for woodchip, because it is recyclable:confused1:
  19. mine is ordered pete, heres hoping my pole pruner and ladder fit in it:001_tongue:
  20. hi guys, the mrs has tried the frisby hat, fun and games, head over side, pretty much everything. he wont even take a bath now, you cant even talk about the bath without him getting upset. i think he is just wrapping us round his finger now. thanks for all the input again. i think the jelly bath will be a laugh, mrs shrek is off shopping now, so the rubber duckies, goggles and wallpaper paste is for the trolly. we are starting a sticker reward chart tonight anyway so this will feature pretty high for a top prize me thinks.
  21. all advice welcome, he used to coup the water over my head. and thought it was a laugh. i think i will get him some rubber duckies, and a set of goggles:001_smile:
  22. make sure you get a good mask mate if you are working with yew, especially if you are sanding.
  23. its bad enough trying to walk on lawns some times, i remember sneaking over a patch of grass in the mog to make a job easier:scared1:it sunk about 2 feet then started to slide, gunned it out and spent over 2 hrs with rakes and shovels trying to tart it up, the old greenkeeping skills come in handy sometimes:ohmy:
  24. havent heard from hom on here, actually havent spoke in ages. i will give him a bell me thinks:001_smile:
