  1. i have a small yard and very little work, but i am getting a bigger truck. i am a believer that the right kit premoted the correct way can find you work and make you money.

  4. i bought this off peteb, i asked for a demo so i could pick fault with it, my jaw nearly hit the floor when i saw it working. even the 2 lads today were making fun of it when i brought it to site, but the second they used it, it was hi fives all round.

  9. i am off out after lunch.( in my own house, not in a van or truck) to chip a pile of branches, if i take the big bandit, it will take 3 of us 10 mins to chip it, but i will be using a big piece of kit to do a wee job, i wont take into consideration the wear and tear on the kit. but i am leaving the boys to drag branches while i head off to get the wee greenmech, i will see how long this little fella takes and i am on an hourly rate plus the nieghbour wants as much firewood as possible. i will take a video and see if i can upload it later. if i can be convinced that 4 inch, 14hp petrol is better than a 160turbo diesel engines 24x17 bandit then i reckon you guys will too. wish me luck

  12. comfy new harness and rope tomorrow mate, after my 7.30am gym session. i am addressing my crap strength and sore back tight hamstring problem first. lol
  13. us jocks have one leg longer than the other for that very reason mate, the bottom half is about 3 feet deep in chip now, he slipps on his backside everytime he goes down the bank. lol

  15. those were the easy ones compared to the rest of the ashes, i reckon i am going to just fell them along the hill with a guide wire off the turfer. they are about 60 feet i reckon but they are only 12-14 inches at the base max growing at about 60 degrees. the owner has stopped me doing those just now and i am back tomorrow, he wants the big sycamore behind the house down that i limbed up:huh:

  17. i have dealt with jonesie now for 10 months, the reason is service and cost. I asked him for some new kit on tuesday night and i got it today, if i have ever ordered the wrong size then i just send it back, no probs. i have just got the sequoia harness after spending 8 years with a big seated one, the difference is unreal. welcome to the forum mate.
  18. my turnover is about that aswell mate, its all to do with time spent above certain heights. to mant folk convince themselves they are constantly working at 80 feet plus 12 hrs a day, so they pay for it. i am hardly in a harness any more and most trees around the british isles wont tickle 50 feet..
