  6. yes she is frank, yes she is:sneaky2:
  7. i have been in the back seats of a crewcab landy and it was tiny, up front the 2 passengers are either sitting on each others knees or getting their legs felt in the gear changes. they are work horses, that is for sure dave. but after a day on the surge either sweaty or soaking i wouldnt want to bundle into one. if you could get a landy tipper like tommers with an ifor tipper for chip and a nice box van for kit and tools. even my t5 is great for kit and carrying guys. the big back door is the business for sheltering under or getting changed. i know i have just suggested 2 vehicles but at least one was a landy
  8. now now simon, it is not like you to lower the tone of the party, is it mozza that has made a bad impression on you, he did spend a weekend with me though:laugh1:
  9. after suffering a sore back for years i have decided to try and solve the problem, my spine is great and my back is strong. my ostio told me so, it is flexibility. so i joined the local gym and had a consultation with the head instructor. he explained to me how the joints and ligaments work, and how he can help me. i have been twice now in 2 days, spending approx 1 hr in the morning stretching and building certain muscles to strenghten the right muscle groups. and i can honestly say i have felt a difference already. it usually hurts the minute i start bending over, today i manged to put the boys in their car seats no bother and stick the triler on the van myself with ease. even before i get out of bed i do a few stretches and wiggly hip movements, he says the more you warm up the more the joints lubricate. i feel better already. he also has me doing dips, pull ups and squats. i am going to make this part of my working day.
  10. you cant beat manpower on a job, that is for sure. i just like noisy stuff mate lol

  12. good luck mate. sorry i am a bit far away..
  13. rain rain rain here to 2 full dry days in 45 i was told. i have averaged 2 days a week i reckon last month. dry today but more due tomorrow
  14. it was bought and paid for and not getting used enough, so i have sold it and managed to replace it with another truck, another chipper, pay off 3 years of my mortgage and have some money left over for a rainy day. it was a great piece of kit and i miss it already on certain jobs, and my wee boy doesnt know it is away yet. i am hoping the next green truck will look the same to him, but i wont bet on it. i dont do the amount of work that i used to. it all came down to money mate..tbh
  15. my brain doesnt have time to remember details mate lol
  16. if you look through the kentish tea party monkey d will be sure to have taken a pic, it is a cracking chipper, it is square and can turn 360 degrees, so the hopper can be right next to the back cape and the spout is always in the same place if you know what i mean. the rollers are side on, it was on the back of a 7.5tonner, and it was hitting the back board easily from what i saw
  17. big red thing with a seat and 2 sliding d's, it was pretty state of the art to me 8 years ago, hell it might of been 9. when the d's slide right to the end then they would jam in the webbing, really annoying. still good, and if i was doing a long day dangling then i would probably go for the big red chair.
  18. mine got a hurl for the first time today aswell, the family jewels were getting pretty squashed at first, but a simple phone call to a man in the know sorted that right out, i reckon my old harness, worn very high hasnt been helping my back over the last 8 years, i usually take my harness off the second i hit the ground but the sequioa is so light and comfy i just kept it on for a brew and a sandwich, then it was upy upy with my new rope and strop. cheers justin
