  1. That's a fair whacking 16t forwarder tho I think. Trouble is the agents know you're on the drip and have to work so have you by the nads; lowering the cut and extract rates all the time. Bang out of order imo. Euroforest - don't own a machine or anything; cutter has to have all the debt, all the grief, all the blame I wouldn't mind rocking the boat a bit with a woodmans charter.
  2. Ponsse Scorpion circa £420k plus £350k ish forwarder... Others will say, chip it green - not so hard on the chipper; then dry it in a drier...
  3. If sheeted, FF reckon 1 cubic metre at 800kg green will drop to 400kg.
  4. Tis a thing of beauty. IMO a naturallly aspirated 6 cylinder is just the ticket; it's now turning 130hp which is only 30hp off the old VX which was turbo'd.
  5. air cleaner / compensator ? Well known for that issue but like you said you'd changed carb. hmm
  6. I like upsetting the landy lovers. One Life:lol:
  7. Which dealer was this?
  8. No RHD "Toyota UK shud be bringing these in at a more realistic price"
  9. Picked up a 661 today - it was SO light weight! Skip the 461, I'm getting a 661
  10. It's worth more than 2 "landies". A proper truck vs LR rubbish. A long term investment worth every penny imo. Land Rover can shudder in fear of the 79LC.
  11. 200 ton. Every other damn 8 wheeler and drag rig has got down there no issue. JL is being a big girl; says he shredded his tyres down there when nozzy CF'd the other side. The actual process to achieve road / hedge mods is so beuraucratic and complicated that it would disproportionate to follow through with.
  12. I have that thought every other day; a whole lot of bother tho isn't it let alone putting someone on the seat..
  13. Jonny L PROMISED to collect a load either yesterday or today. As per his usual form, he didn't show up. Don't make promises you can't keep I say. I can't afford to go the APF! They're all manic, but still choosey.
  14. 2 saws back (600-610-620), I raved about the CS-600 on the "hell of an echo in here" thread. The 620 must be a dream...
  15. Turning into a serious nightmare mate.
  16. Get on!
  17. SPOT ON
  18. Pic is deceptive; getting smaller. All bars Rob. Second pic is another job, Hardwood is available btw - I've been told. All completely irrelevant as can't get a haulier; will be out of business at this rate.
  19. Some of mine
  20. Likewise I had one that was a rocket, lovely little thing. Hated the 346xp. Dolmar 5105 obliterates the 550xp on torque...
  21. Dunns had a mus-max, changed to a Eschelbock Biber 82 and have just changed back again to a mus-max... latter tends to utilise input power rather well
