  1. she went on to tell me how her grandad had bought a log splitter, but it took her about 30mins to explain what this thing was, i knew straight off she was talking about a log splitter, but i didnt tell her i knew that
  2. you've got 6000 grand to spend on a chipper? 6000k!? You could buy every chipper on the market
  3. only last night i was having a drunken conversation with a girl about being a "tree surgeon" when i explained to her what i did she replied "thats hot"

  5. i have my saw strop attached to my harness, then clip the 020 onto the end of the saw strop with a crab, use both 3way and screw gates and havnt had any trouble with them opening by themselves.

  7. I think money is better spent on security and stuff to make sure it not nicked in the first place. Prevention is better than cure and all that...
  8. They had people dotted around the country on there mobile phones, and when it came to 9:09 chris moyles told everyone to honk there horn, and all you could hear down these mobile phone lines were people honking, i thought it was amusing. Maybe im just abit simple...

  11. The fact its a drum chipper is what makes it a good machine i think, the timberwolf is a bog standard flywheel type machine and it just dosnt do the job. Will deffiently recomend this to the boss.
  12. That looks a cracking machine, infact i used one breifly whilst testing it for a hort weekly chipper article, it might have been peteb that came down? Anyway we use a small gravity fed timberwolf at work, and tbh its crap. This looks alot better!
  13. I hate hedges, its all we have been doing recently Not wanting to criticise, but do you not feel working without your t-shirt on is abit unproffesional? Or is it just one of the many perks that come with being your own boss?

  15. Impressive stuff, i was also told that decompresors on saws were originaly designed for the japenese market, not sure how true this is.

  22. I can see a fair few marks on the lawn... or was it just squashed grass that came back to life after a rake had been run over it? Sadly most the the people we work for wouldnt entertain the idea of driving on there lawn with that thing, although it still looks awsum
  23. The last hire van i drove had one, i couldnt get used to using it. just hang my head out the door in tight spots lol. Can also imagaine them getting damaged and broken off very easily in this job.
