  3. Quality job! - very efficient! Some nice plant there, does the mog get used for much else other than with the trailer?
  4. I think its only if you have a part in the purchasing process, if you inspect your own and a piece of kit need replacing you may pass it due to financial reasons - I know as a climber you wouldnt risk your life but there may be people out htere who pass stuff like lowering equipment to save themselves a few quid!
  5. I dont think you can assess anything you purchase/use, if you are an employee of a company I think you can inspect the company gear providing you are not involved with the purchasing. If you are a one man band you could probably find another loler assessor and check each others gear?
  6. I cant do 20th June, its the first Lions test and we have some Dutch guys coming over that we met skiing this year. But hey, you guys go enjoy yourselves I'll catch up on the next one.
  7. I'm cool with anyday Sat or Sun, be good now the nice weather appears to be here. Not sure I'm going to bother bringing climbing gear, just chill with a bar b, a beer and my girls will suit just fine!!
  8. did you manage to get it out with the mini digger?
  9. Those cables look pretty close to the boom?
  10. ...in that case your on stump grinding tomorrow!
  11. Visited a client with "leaves dying" today, which I diagnosed Beech leaf mining weevil. He then took me into the rear garden which had a Purple Hazel and Wild Cherry both with the same problem. Is this common to effect all other trees at a property as I thought it attacked mainly only beech? (hence the name!) The first pic shows the Beech hedge and second the Hazel with same symptoms...any suggestions?
  12. Who's driving? She now has more hair than me!
  13. Here are my two lovely girls, lets see some pics of your clans...

  15. We used Ruskins - Home to move an Oak tree in Cambridge, they were fairly reasonable and adaptable. They may agree a day rate and move as many as they can in the day, have you thought about transporting these trees to the new site?
  16. Welcome Matt, nice tree man! I think the cankers you are on about are just bits of little joe's belly button fluff!
  17. Thats the big question, dont think its been on the market long enough to tell/show results. Decompaction after the event would be very tricky. The only machinery used during installation was a tracked mini digger to scrape away the surface the rest was done by hand. Expensive drive but we were pleased with the results and the LPA were happy
  18. Rocked up about 1 left about 5ish just as the rain came in!
  19. Some pics of Cell web we fitted to protect the roots of Beech and Green Gage trees so our client could have a drive at the rear of the property.
  20. Take a look at the Arb Assoc course, pretty informative and you get loads of info on disc. Training and Events Introduction
