  1. Did you see that episode of River Cottage where Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall started with a Woodcock and stuffed it in a woodpigeon and so forth until the last bird if I remember rightly was a Guinea fowl? Now thats a feast.
  2. One of the best films ever made is on channel 124 right now "OLIVER" Oliver Reeds finest performance. Surely no one can disagree? or can they?
  3. Christ I could buy a new saw with what they just spent on ammo.
  4. Hahahahaha, funny as feck.............swiftly followed up with a smack on the snout...........Ah if only.
  5. .:congrats:
  6. That sounds like a veritable alcohol feast, and the lazy git only works one day a year.
  7. Well done, I hate the thought of an animal suffering. Its got to be a clean kill or nothing. I also pass up targets if its in doubt regarding a one shot kill or safety. At eleven ft lb youre hunting skills are extremely sharpened.
  8. Hahahahaha:laugh:
  9. Nice selection Rich, I have a fair bit of land to shoot over and an open ticket. If we work together in the future maybe we could have blat after. I,m not into fox shooting though I only kill what I,m going to eat. Here,s my bunny busters.
  10. Thats disgusting stuff, you may as well drink treacle mixed with 100% proof alcohol.
  11. Thats not a bad idea, cheers I,ll bear it in mind.
  12. I use a rimfire myself, but have you ever seen a .17hmr in action. Its soft nose full metal jacket that flies straight for 100yds and if hits a stone or hard ground etc it just disintergrates making it much safer than a .22 rimfire. No more ricochets...............Got youre No. by the way, talk to you soon. Happy chrimbo Rich.
  13. The trouble with 12 ft lb is that its a bit cruel on the bunny. I think all air rifles should be licensed and run at 20 ft lb at least. I,ve shot and skinned many a bunny and found old pellets lodged inside. Very cruel indeed.
  14. At 30ft lb it must be on an FAC. Is it a factory job or did you up the power yourself?
  15. Thats a good idea for the future. On this occasion I had the interview on the Monday and they wanted this Ash down on the Tuesday. I will certainly remember youre idea, put the fuel through the books and put an hour or two on the final invoice. And on top of that keep the ol woman sweet, nice one.
  16. Ive never in 14 years had a single problem with the NFU. If they say they will insure a chipper as a trailer thats what they,ll do. They are not youre average insurers trying to wriggle out and look for loopholes when things go wrong. I really cant fault them.
  17. Its Medway Housing Society, they have property all over Kent and London. An association really. It may have been a wasted trip but it was nice to see a different part of Kent again. Its stunning landscape around Folkestone.
  18. That is feckin hilarious.
  19. Three hours at £40 an hour plus £20 diesel, I think on the advice I,ve heard I,ll let it go and put it down to experience. however I will ask for pics in the future. The trouble is at 46 I,m a bit sick of still putting things down to experience. Oh well live n learn.........again.
  20. Why add to the pollution. Keep it clean where ever possible. If we all stood by what youre saying we would all be chucking our litter all over the place.
  21. Christ thats sharp! seriously well done.
  22. Haha like ya style, seriously though thanks for all youre advice.I,ll probably take it on the chin and gain it back as I go. Merry chrimbo one n all.
  23. Not in a cruel way I might add.
  24. Thats just made me and my wife really laugh.
  25. You have a wise head my friend, and modest at the same time.
