  3. I know a few qualified tree surgeons who are to be honest a liability . I also know a few homeowner users who are more than capable . Experience every time you cant beat it .

  5. The green paint just makes them easily spotted as your saws on site . The police reckon that if the saws got stolen the engraving probably would only help if the saws where recovered . One of my fellow tree surgeons use something called micro dot which is aimed at motorcycle theft . ?
  6. I always engrave my saws on the metal parts . I also give them a splash of green paint so they are easily spotted on site when working with different contractors .

  11. I dont understand some of these start times ie 5am even 6/6.30 in winter . Its dark and so who would want you on site at that time ? Forgive me if your taking traveling times into account .
  12. Have you tried wrapping a sling round he nearest suitable branch. Attaching a krab and running your climbing line through that ( Redirect ) ? . Gives you a better angle to work from sometimes

  14. I know what you mean . My Dad still does the back seat driver thing slow down , indicate and so on . Being strict is good as it gives you boundaries .

  18. Yeah its strange my dad reckons as he was brought up without affection that he should do the same with us . When I was 18 I asked him why he never said ( I love you ) he had no answer . Now I tell both mine eveyday I love em the 15 yr old still gets his kiss goodnight . Alhough he doesnt tell his friends Really cool how your Dad is up there . As your younguns grow up they will sense the bond . They will have both Dad and Grandad to look up to and your brother
  19. Savate , French kickboxing for me . Strange as it sounds if you hold your hand up to someone and shout stop 90% of the population will stop if only for a brief second . Its something to do wih the way your programmed from birth . A good jab to the face / eyes with a pencil is what I,ve told my lady to do .   24. Along with maybe Politics , Taxes , Fuel costs , NHS the list goes on but I do also hate the blooming rain it gets you wet . Love my country though Although I would emigrate if family and friends would tag along . That means I,d have to go without a proper meat n tato pie
