  1. agree with you there dude.....im currently doing a horticultre course there and some of the trees are in a right state.theres a malus with practically half the crown split out and yet ive offered to sort it out and they wont let me for some reason.....even told em id do it for nowt:confused1: yer think ben needs four to make the course viable.

  4. hiah dude.usk college run a cs30/31 course..did mine there a few years ago. theres a depot of ours in raglan that run chipper courses,on a scheme id never heard of before called chainsaw operators registry scheme.just a one day course.did our cs38/39 in hereford-holme lacey college. other than that you can contact a guy called ben daniels who was the tutor at usk when they ran cs38/39
  5. were getting a new 6inch bearcat in wrk shortly so will be giving it a gd workout and see how it fairs......nething to keep an eye out for?

  10. germany i belive steve.guy who won the german champs climbs on em. guy from saftey tech has just sent a sample of splices back to them them to drop test so hopefully theyll be able to offer em wit eyes soon
  11. nebody here use gleistein ropes..had a play bout with there cougar line today:001_tt1: nice and pliable and easy on the hands......do an 11mm for all you boys and girls that like it.........saftey technology in raglan are starting to import there stuff.£1.82 a meter
  12. deffinatly consider the weight tho.one of the grass teams in work have a honda engined jobbie (kaaz, i think).asked for a hand getting on the van recently, me thinks only a lawn mower and nearly put me back out.......wieght on the thing was unbelivable sommat like 63 kilos i think
  13. if you think there bad you should come have a look at the ones in monmouth s.wales.half of them need to be taken out,either suffering from root plate movement or are rotten to the core.i keep telling the supervisor but i mite aswell be banging me head on a wall!

  21. hiah guys bit more info on the treetop smock.....very close fitting whatever size u are go for the nxt one up......im normally a 46inch chest which in their sizings is a xl but after tlking with the guys from trees unlimited they advised a xxl.turns out they know there stuff. very nice tho and v hard wearing........kept my nice and snug in the bad weather last week

  23. cuz all the hatched areas are the same our instructor let us cheat abit by putting it in the hatched area and marking a level on the mirror.so when we reversed just had to line up on this mark and you knew that the back end would be in the hatches.

  25. it wasnt so bad for me,was only driving for a year when i did my trailer.....still had all the stuff rolling round in my head.....hadnt formed any really bad habits yet......if anybody in my neck of the woods is thinking of doing it would recommend heads of valleys training,nice blokes all round
