  1. Animal.
  2. You will find them much more hard wearing.
  3. Steve’s is even more unhappy than mine!

  5. Looks great Tom. I’ve always thought spending money on a decent grab is a wise investment. No point having 17” guns if you’ve got baby hands!
  6. That is exactly the problem. It’s like Reg’s bollard with the crank handle. It works, but you’re constantly resetting the capture pulley. Endless is what’s needed, but a £3.5k GRCS is sledgehammer to crack a nut territory for a lot of our jobs.
  7. Defo give NFU a shout then mate. You also have to remember a lot of people probably don’t declare any modifications to their insurers which probably isn’t the wisest move.
  8. I know it’s not what you’ll want to hear Conner, but I wouldn’t bother converting a double cab to a tipper. Got to be king cab to avoid a ludicrously small payload. Lad round here spent £6k converting his and bitterly regrets it.

  11. China do need picking on. They are still by far the largest polluter on the planet, mainly from burning fossil fuels.

@Joe Newton do you have any connections up there?

  15. Pristine lawn and ancient paving slabs ruled that out Rich.
  16. Yesterday’s job was a sycamore on a bank beside a moat. Pretty straightforward apart from the stem logs that we couldn’t drop because of a bridge and uplight at the base, and couldn’t risk them bouncing into the moat. As they got heavier they couldn’t be wrestled into the cage as it sent the weight limit over. Cracked off with a keeper rope, second man bailed out the cage then turned the MEWP into a crane. Worked really well. Not massive, about 50kg. Lovely spot. Joseph Conrad’s old house. IMG_0003.mov IMG_0006.mov
  17. James and Ollie I suggest getting in touch with Justin (Jonesie on here) and bouncing ideas around. His shows are part of arb legend.
  18. Indeed, looking very natural.
  19. I’m getting a bit sick of this ‘first letter could be anything’ bullshit they’re throwing at the moment! Wordle 1,581 5/6 🟨⬜⬜🟩⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟩⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  20. Good beer and food as said. Stock more lager, Guinness and cider, and less Badgers Olde Fartdodger. Cash or card. Quick course climbing comps. No one wants to see some fat old bloke crawling round a tree for 35 minutes to prove he’s still got it. Working demos of rigging gear. No plant/machinery over £100k. No slicked back hairstyles / tracksuits with Barbour gilets / thieves.
