  2. Where are you Nikk? I'm sure someone on here could help you out. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. That's an SRT advert alright Liam! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. Don't get me wrong Donnk, I've been involved in many scorched-earth pre-planning jobs. My view is if the trees were worthy of a TPO they should have had one anyway. This is slightly different though. It would be nice to see those developers get a financial kick in the nuts. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. It would be could to see some high-profile cases of this dished out Edward. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. That fine can now be based on the potential profit from felling a TPO'd tree, not just the max £20k it used to be. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Like Petzl tested the ZZ mk1? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. Even if your 4" stiffy was too floppy? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  11. My old 440 was a fantastic saw, that got hammered and lived and died with great honour. I've used Rich's 441, and more often Von Harringtons, and rate them very highly. They seem to be strong, reliable saws. Yes, they can feel a bit squishy compared to old school cool, but I like that, not being a massive HAVS fan anymore. Comparing them to the much more nimble 560 is pointless. I'm that rare breed of weirdo who likes both Stihl and Husqvarna (their good saws - they both offer shite models as well!). 12. Will is there not a risk of the RW flopping down onto onto your ZZ and pressing the 'descent immediately' button for you? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. I wasn't trying to pee on your bonfire Nikk, just being realistic. As long as you're not planning on being purely a production climber, but rather combining basic climbing skills with a broader skills base, maturity and grit you should be ok. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Mmmmmm. It might be time to buy myself some polyester trousers, a pilots shirt and a top pocket pen holder. Just need a greasy wig, grow my paunch a bit and get coffee breath and I'll be all set to start raking it in.[emoji386][emoji386][emoji386] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Does the two-year expiry period not seem like a massive rip-off to everyone? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. Thanks mate. Coming up with £150 + VAT down here. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. Can you point me to the ROLO course for £100 please? Ta. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  19. Hahaha! TBH Jon, since there doesn't appear to be a definitive answer as to which card we actually need yours might be as good as any! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. I have the Gransfors maul and large splitting axe, and they are both awesome and beautiful tools. I've used my mates X27 and was seriously impressed as well. Absolutely no harm in owning all three!
  21. Surely that doesn't allow you to do anything though Jon? Unless you just like visiting construction sites.
  22. The £20 days are long gone. You can't just do the test anymore, you have to do the ROLO course first. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. Profit. Very rare term, hardly in use anymore. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. That's brilliant! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. Nikk aren't you 52? You've left it a bit late to start a new career climbing commercially. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
