Most definitely, but as my g/f pointed out and I agree, is kicking the bell cheating ever so slightly? Is there some rule to say you have to at least be on the same branch or is it just get that bell ringing any way possible.

Never seen a tulip tree taller than about 10 feet for some reason there's always something oddly bizzare and fascinating about supported trees in a strange frankenstein's monster sort of way.

Thanks very much. I was just thinking I'd better introduce myself . I've just started a foundation degree in arboriculture at myerscough so all bright eyed and bushy tailed at the moment as climbed my first tree today too since I was 11 lol. Always had a lot of interest in the outdoors so thought I'd jump in the deep end and give it a go. Before I started this degree I was studying New Media so got a bit of experience with editing but to get the colours it's just a matter of changing the curves, saturation, hue, and a few other settings to help bring it out. As I said above I've just entered the community so fraid I've not a clue what kind it is (I just take pictures of anything I like the look of at the moment:001_tongue:). For anyone interested though it was taken in Haigh Hall in Wigan. Just follow the train tracks round and its near the pond, some gorgeous fungi round there and a rather crazy holly tree that they call hedgehog holly with the spikes on top too: So yeah, a bit of info on me and hopefully I should be a regular on here soon. Looking forward to the APF this friday too
