  1. The way a lot of farmers drive modern tractors I'm amazed there aren't more fatalities, why does a 10t trailer and a big tractor have to be driven flat out as soon as it sees tarmac is behond me.
  2. Yeah I wouldn't go back to a hitch unless I really had too, they make life so much easier. Dave, we actually agree on something
  3. Correct, dark nights, wind and the fact that even thieving scum bags want money for Christmas! Some people don't help themselves though, keeping such expensive tools in garden sheds and vans etc over night is easy pickings. My yard is tighter than a sharks ass even the local copper was shocked at the Lengths I have gone to with security.
  4. Touch wood I have had no problems with either, love climbing on it.
  5. Yeah pretty much, from October onwards thefts go through the roof.
  6. Right, I keep checking mine but ok so far.
  7. What's the difference with the mk3 ?
  8. Stihl make there own version of aspen now so I can't see why they wouldn't condone the use of aspen Husky recommend aspen so I think LW might have some duff info.
  9. Leeds council don't condone crown reduction at all and will only allow lateral reduction, they class height reduction as topping!!!

Any news on my dolmak yet Andrew?
  14. Yes you have to agree to getting it but the alternative is prosecution, it's a formal slap on the wrists in effect.
  15. It is a caution, and it's nothing to do with the TO but the enforcement team, basically you sigh an official council letter "the caution" and if you cock up again they take you too court. Begging with the TO won't do alot of good as it's in the hands of the enforcement team. I know as I came v close to getting shafted by a lieing client!
  16. That is correct but they can also lie and say they made the contractor aware of said tpo.
  17. Just called stobart, still taking it off me as I'm near 3 power stations.
  18. Good for you mate, always nice too have good kit.
  19. Oh and get ready for your customer to lie through her back teeth as she will have to give a statement to the council and a tenner says she will say she told you they were protected!!!!
  20. Rule of thumb, never ever ever trust a customer! Chances are you will be prosecuted but if your lucky and admit your cock up to the council you might get off with a caution. I have nearly been had over a few times.
