  4. Yes that's about right, good price that for a nearly new machine.
  5. Go for multi tip. Fast to change and v cost affective.
  6. Dead trees can be very strong, almost like bell metal! just be v careful and use your own judgment, not others.
  7. Had one lsst time, great machine, no problems. Would buy another.
  8. it wont matter to you as you done need spares as you only do 2 jobs a year:001_tt2:
  9. Fr jones do husky spares, had just as many problems with stihl gear . Husky is better now
  10. No thanks. i need a new blower but it will be a husky one as i can get parts easier. second hand stihl gear aint worth much now.
  11. why buy a perfectly good piece of kit and put crap oil in it................cant get me head round that. Oh and using used engine oil aint very enviromently friendly is it.
  12. singled wheeled tippers will actually carry a bit more, not as good traction though.
  13. you have made the decision then, now give it time! plenty of guys dont want the hassel of running there own firm and make good living as a freelancer. Get your kit together and offer yourself out, start by putting a thread on here. Good luck.
  14. Same her fortunately, she has stuck by me through thick and thin and all is well now.
  15. Going back to Gordon, I think you need to make your mind up as too what direction you want too go in, Freelance climber/groundie or make your own business. Its hard to do both well as per what's been said, I wouldn't have a freelancer turn up in his written van and clothing but as a business owner you need that, concentrate on one area and make it work for you.
  16. I can see where he is coming from, my mate made his wife a 49% shareholder in his garage business...................there now split up and she drains it too hell and there's bugger all he can do.
  17. No quite true, I'm Ltd and you only need one director and a co secetary......well that's all I have and Co house said it was fine! the rest is spot on though.
