  1. NFU have been great with my landrover as it turn out to have a false id the legal protection they offered is sorting out the claim to the dealer i bought it from. Any other insurance company would have said that i am sorry as the landrover is not the one in the policy we wont cover you for that. As long as they stay competive I will remain an NFU customer. Fully comp business use £230 quid for 110 tipper I can t see others getting much better considering I am 26.
  2. Also try other NFU branches they all seam to work differently
  3. try trust insurance

  14. Thanks for the offer john but I don t believe in the DIY approach. The Tree its self is a large Coast Redwood if its going to be done it must be done properly by an experianced contractor. Thats why I want referances. I am not willing to take a chance in half measures thats not how I operate.

  20. I am one of his instructors and also use him as a groundsman/climber fairly regularly. He is very capable and certainly has great experiance. Hes not affraid of hard work ground based or in the tree. Any company that is looking for someone in the mid twentys, fully qualified very knowledgeable and just a genuine good all round guy then you certainly should give him a shot you should not be disappointed. Hope you get some decent leads from this and I ll gladly give you a full written reference if needed. Good luck Will (Beardy Ayres)
  21. Its for the best mate i wouldn t have touched it even with your money.
  22. at 1500 hundred quid it would be great but make sure you budget higher at least another grand as old machine s like that will certainly cost more. Remember its not like you have any proper protection like you would if you went to a dealer. I know you pay more at dealers but you will save in the long run. Interest rates are so low and with your work picking up I would be inclined to spend a bit more for less hastle its what i did and i am happy so far

    colleges

Me and a mate used to teach that this is our thoughts. Its very difficult for the College staff to get the results as the average age of student is dropping. When i was at college i was one of the younger ones in my low twentys but now the average age is eighteen. Who hear can say that at eighteen they knew what they wanted, had the disipline to listen to intruction and pushed yourself on practicals and in the classroom. The staff are given a large group of students due to a bums on seats program so the college can earn lots of money. Every year they produce a small number of good students and a number of crap ones but i don t think you ll get it perfect with every one. Do you think the industry could cope if all colleges had great success rates and turned out outstanding students. Unfortunatly it will never happen. The colleges don t tend to offer great wages so why would some one want to teach a load of snotty teenagers. It takes the right sort of person to take on a teaching job. I think college staff should be thanked for the work not slated its hard for them to get the Large numbers of students through everything on their course especially if the student doesn't want to be there.
