Timber cutter,that is a blast fro the past..i was 19 at the time and remember it well...i remember that News programme also...winds so strong over the Isle of wight that the needle was off the scale! Even remember Michael fish the previous night saying that there was nothing to worry about......

Thanks Geoff...this is the last of mine from Saturday,s visit to Kew...we need an Arbtalk visit there one day:thumbup: it,s a Grand day out..£14 for a whole day walking around the worlds largest collection of living plants with around 15,000 tree specimins....if you like trees,it,s quite a mindblowing experience on your first visit...
  13. Yes Tony a Spring visit to the Big Garden should be on the cards...or sooner a Winter wander..once all the leaves have dropped would make for some interesting tracery to photograph...

  18. and i,ve been delivering them for him...all i see is happy customers...two deliveries had Burners installed moments before i arrived and the last bloke had just finnished a rather nice log store....logs are selling like hotcakes around Twyford!!
